The Great Garden Expansion of 2024. No, this doesn't count as starting a new project.

This video covers the garden expansion of 2024 here at The Hay Farm. This included setting concrete retaining blocks (not shown) building raised beds from cedar fence pickets, filling them with horse manure, and amending the native soil next to the first tier of the garden. This video covers approximately a month of work, some of which happened to late in the season to really have the plants reap the benefits. Day late and a dollar short is just kind of how it goes around here for these projects. Next year should be great though as the manure breaks down more and the soil really starts to become healthy again.
