So glad your back. I like the diving stuff but with certain divers on here I have fallen in love with thier family's and everyday dealings. So with that said I am so glad you are being a great dad and doing a flower bed for your son. He will be so happy to see you built it for him as I am.

Wow Double D, I was getting exhausted just watching you dig that flower bed!! I think I would have had to borrow or rent a small tiller for that job. Can’t wait to see the finished project. Miss your dumpster dives, but you need to do what’s good for you. I always felt that gardening was relaxing and good for the soul. Take care of yourself and have a blessed week!

I live in the suburbs and have a gigantic front yard. So, I take about three thirds of my yard and plant vegetables. When it's time to harvest, I can everything. Then during the fall I will go buy bushels of apples and make apple butter and jam. So no matter where you live you can always have a garden. 💕💕💕

Nice! Mr black snake is really great for controlling mice, ect. Waiting for part 2 now. Keep doing what you do, and I'll continue to watch! I did my own flower gardens too. Small-nope! I did the entire side of the house with a small hand shovel. Its work! Took me 3-4 days!

Glad to see you DD. Two of my favorites in one, diving and gardening, SCORE! I have a 'blackie' that has been in my yard for years as well. Shes about 5 1/2 ft female king snake, she is welcome to hang around forever. Havent had an issue with copperheads in years, she keeps them out and I am good with that.

Black snakes are good to have in your yard. They will keep some of the other snakes out.

Glad your back, pretty sure the first yellow tomato plant is small ones because the leaves are smaller so that makes the end one a large because the leaves are larger.
Beautiful little Indigo black Snake 🐍 There good luck 🍀 They everything from mice to lizards to 🐛 good for the garden 🪴 non poisonous !

Nice black racer snake you’ve got there Double D. We had one that lived in our back yard when I was a kid, we loved him, because he kept all the rats away and the poisonous snakes...we called ours el negro...I was learning Spanish. 🤣 Your garden is looking good, can’t wait to see it finished. I hope that its ok. I'd love give you some advice for your planting. Start a small compost pit. Of just grass clippings and leaves in the fall. Make some wonderful soil

you need to drill holes in the bottom of each plantpot cos flowers dont like water on their foot.
would love to show you my littel garden. I made a little pond for the birds to drink and take their bath but since few years some little animals come in and make their kids inside 🤣. last year i got 5 , this year 20 of them. they look like veryvtiny Crocodiles but with a short mouth.

To me the yellow tomatoes are so much better and sweeter than other tomatoes. You need to find a rotatiller in the dumpster LOL.

Be careful with the gladiolus as they take up lots of room to grow and will crowd out the other flowers.
Plus being bulbs won't they not bloom until next spring. Don't they have to go through a cold season. Not sure of this but was just curious. Anyways, glad to seeya DD. I've planted some tomatoes and peppers as well. Hope both of ours do well. Those are some nice planters you found. Good luck with everything. I too have blackies where I live as well. They do no harm.
