When u downwind and suddenly strong gust. how u trim main sail. U can't turn around because this high waves. Thanks

whats the easiest ways to pop battens that havent popped?

Grab and Abruptly pull boom windward and downwards, if you had the battens stuck already do this with the tacking. In smaller, lighter boats crew shift may do the trick.
