Wow, the fact that you had a very clear vision for your plan early on and you ended up doing almost everything exactly as you describe in the first few clips is so impressive and showcases your talent. Hope you are safe
Are you safe from the fires? I've been checking your channel the last 2 days. I just saw Benji's video, broke both me and my husband's hearts, thankfully both of them, Theo and Winnie are okay. Stay safe
Ooh I love this compilation throughout the past years! Its cool to see how your style ideas really came to fruition, piece by piece. I have quite a different style from yours and I always wonder what you would think of my place and what you would change about it. It's already influenced the way I've been framing and placing art, completely inspired by you. Thanks for posting your journey!
Inspired! The idea of starting a new entire interior is pretty exciting to me. I really enjoy your videos because you are so incredibly real and can make anything work well and it delights. Thanks for making us all smile with your taste in design. I like how you express joy and vision physically with movement of your hands and movement through each space. The delivery of information is wonderful because it's a very can-do spirit and super savvy smart. It's like watching a dance performance of a home interior. Just so very cool.
I always feel so inspired after watching your videos, I haven't followed you from the beginning so this was a nice way to get to see how it all began ❤
08:13 that gesture you make with your hands here is killing me for some reason lmfaoo like youre a host for HGTV. but yeah im glad yall are still safe and even helping people out!
Paige, this is very mysterious the long recap vid. Hoping you, Kate, your pals all ok. Devasted for Benji and Chris. Hope Arvin Olano, Ethan Gaskill, and the other young talented LA design RUclips community is OK.
Just guessing but Paige and Ethan their housing seems more central la. I think Arvin’s home gives me Laurel Canyon vibes, I could be way off with that, but he might actually be impacted.
Hoping you’re safe and stay so. I’d totally put wheels under that metal table. I have dollys for plants that hold 200 pounds. I have used them to move heavy stuff versus carrying stuff too heavy for me. I put anything I can on wheels, lol. I like change
Robe and loafers for 2025! Paige starting the trends of the Goo past 🎉 🐶 I was thinking in the past that maybe either get a tension rod to cover the teal looking tiles in the bathroom, pull the rod forward so you cannot even see the tile. If you end up redoing this room again, I would recommend you try fun bright colors that don’t match the rest of the house, think Warhol and yellow or red and let the teal tiles show because they don’t match well with all the warm colors in the rest of the house.
In the bathroom -what if you hung a separate curtain rod just outside of the tiled area? It would give you the opportunity to hang the decorative curtain higher, and would also hide the green tiled border. Not that there's anything wrong with the green, other than it's locking you into a specific color palette. Anyway, just a thought. Love the channel. :)
This is such a random Q, but I'm inspired by your outfits. Can I ask where did you get your fitted long sleeve shirts from? Like the emerald specifically? Lol, again, so random, also I'm obsessed with your videos and it's inspired my home style so much.
Paige, and I assume Kate, are more inland-central LA. They wouldn’t be affected by the fires other than the power outages that are going on. By account on social, they’re and hosting a donation drive for fire victims. I don’t know, I only assumed from the woodiness of Benji’s place and were I assume it is he might have been impacted by the Sunset Fire. The energy in the greater LA area is of great sadness, but everyone's come together to help each other.
Paige I hope you and your beautiful home are safe, and so are your friends. Seeing half of your city go down in flames must be devastating . We're with you!
I am looking forward to a WAS shower curtain in the future that is a longer length to hang from my ceiling because that's the set up I've had for the last year and I can't find a shower curtain I like to bring some nice color and style to my bathroom. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE SOME
Not sure if you found a solution for the yellow light in the garage/office, but it crossed my mind for you to buy a Christmas tree light extension cord with a foot switch…
Hi Paige, would you share the price you paid for the storage unit in the living room? I've been looking for something similar for months but I didn't find anything as beautiful as you did. I wonder if it's because my budget is very low and need to re-evaluate my budget or my wants ! Stay safe.
It really is a matter of just luck and a huge dose of where do you live. Are you shopping used? I don't set a budget on Fb marketplace so I can see everything and get an idea of how much people are expecting for certain items. This will help you get an idea of what's out there and also with negotiating prices. Sometimes people have things up for MONTHS and they're willing to come down a lot. I've put things up where eventually I take (almost) any offer just to have someone get it out of my place.
@mmdoubt I do shop used, in fact it's my goal to not buy anything new for my home. I'm from the south of France and I think french people are less "careless" with the price of their furniture. The only inexpensive stuff I find is not my taste at all, unlucky me, I have expensive taste^^' I'll keep looking, I already have a lot of saved searches so maybe I'll get lucky :-)
@@sophielegay4104 I think she paid $1200 for her set of 4 from nulla club. I'm really curious, how do people often shop for secondhand pieces like furniture in the south of France? Flea markets? Is Facebook marketplace used often? I just went on to check and it seems like everybody just lists their items as "meuble vintage" lol which means you really have to look at everything! I also looked up meuble vintage near Marseille on leboncoin (is that popular?) just for fun and the Danish and Scandinavian stuff can be expensive, but I found a lot of 1960s furniture for decent prices! I did find a good looking three piece set searching for bibliothèque années 60 for only 120eur in Oraison.
@@sophielegay4104 I think Paige has default filters on yt comments so my followups keep getting deleted. This is my last attempt lol, but I found a nice 3-piece set for 120 on leboncoin in Oraison searching for bibliothèque années 60. So it's definitely possible with persistence and luck. ;)
@@sophielegay4104 Using bibliothèque années 60 I found a nice 3-piece set for 120eur on leboncoin (is this popular?), so definitely possible! Everything labeled "danois" or "scandinave" is expensive. Her 4-piece set is from nulla club for $1200.
Helloo i lost the email from which i received updates for my pillow shipment, but please i need another velvet yellow lumbar pillow pleaseplease so nice need it twice it even makes my couch more comfortable
I got excited @1:17:49 because of the height at which Paige had hung her bedroom drapes. I said to myself, ‘Finally! Someone gets it.’ Then, @1:18:55, I saw she’d succumbed to the ‘hang your curtain rods just below ceiling height’ idea that everyone on social media is adhering to at the (alleged) behest of “professional” designers, and moved her rods way above the window frame. Contrary to popular belief, this does not elevate the space or make it look more elegant. It’s completely unnecessary. And when the drapes are open, all that wall space between the rod and the window doesn’t look good at all.
Yesss well spotted with the time frames! I like the 'before' a lot better too, it emphasizes the beautiful windows more, looks cozier to me. Wonder if this 'design rule' will be eliminated with time
@ : I certainly hope so. It just doesn’t work when you have moulding, beams, or domed ceilings. Drapery should usually be commensurate with the size of the window. And I agree with you about the coziness factor. Floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall, pleated, tailored drapery is great in modern or mid-century homes with their clean, sharp edges. Especially over sliding glass doors, which were extremely common, or large picture windows.
@@blueoystercolt97 Let’s just say I don’t always agree with all her choices, but if she’s willing to spend time and money redoing her current place, I’m willing to watch and learn from her ideas!
I like your bangs but after seeing your hair in the garage makeover part, you were way hotter without 'em. I'm also hotter without bangs but bangs are fun so who cares lol.
Heartbroken for Benj. Your footage of his home will be a precious memorial... Sending love and hope for your safety from Idaho...
