I do this all the time. When anything goes wrong in my house or vehicles I hit as many thrift stores as I have to to find the money to pay for it. Gotta love being a reseller.
Oh that fan with the blue blades is so good. I had one when I was a kid and it lasted forever. I don’t even know what happened to it. A weird brand of DVD combos that is good is Broksonic. It came from Circuit City. Mine lasted me 12 years even with buttons missing. Lol!!
The story book player!! My kids are hoping we will find one at a thrift store one day because we have a book for it. Good pick up! I've looked then up on eBay but did not want to pay that much!
I always wanted to do this. After watching your videos I started and have found several home run picks at thrift stores. I double post on eBay and OfferUp and actually sell more on OfferUp. Learning a lot from you, thanks!
Watching on 10-22-21. Just an FYI, don't be afraid of Realistic stuff. Some of it is highly collectible. I bought an all frequency scanner made by Realistic at an estate sale for 75 cents and sold it for $110!
Awesome pick ups as always Matt. You have such a good eye. Large items with a smaller sale price than shipping is tough to swallow like that fan. Especially when you consider if they want to return it INAD.
Some of the realistic stuff is good if they don't charge a ton. I got a realistic reciever and turn table for 20 bucks total. They sold within a week for a total of almost 300 bucks.
Ugh! I hate when something goes wrong with my vehicle! At least you are a hustler who is able to go out there and create more money to cover those expenses! Also, my grandma had that blue fan when I was a kid. That brought back memories seeing it.
Got to keep that in mind something else will need fixing keeps me going. Bummer when a main car part goes bad they're always pricey. Either way Excellent finds no matter how mixed up your videos get i will always come back.
I have no Idea how postage works in the US but I would have grabbed that cool fan in the UK I don't worry about the size as the customer paying the cost 😉 . The Space Jam items are Awesome 👌🏿
I feel you on the water pump PTP...my 04 Tahoe has 400k+ miles on it and I am on my 3rd water pump...great vid content and channel...your killing it....
Nice good to know they can get to 400K. My last one, an 02, got to 285k when the transmission blew. I paid $4k for the 04 and will run it until it dies. Thanks for watching Big Jim 🤙
ugh! Water pump! I went through 2 in 2 years because I used the aftermarket one at AutoZone. I had to pay up for the real deal on my car, so far it is holding up. This is the same car that required a 38 dollar gas cap to pass inspection when I lost mine. DUH! I won't do that again.
Well looks like you certainly made enough to pay for the water pump and installation & then some..😂 I knew you would do it for sure Matt.. Love the Jordan phone's.. Well done. Stay safe homie..👍💞🔥⚾😷
Matt sorry to here about tour water pump. That's a good price for parts and labor and you find some great buys today. Is Eco thrift your favorite spot to shop.
Every time I go to “Restore” or “Habitant for Humanity” I think of you. Mine has, trucks, doll, p.J, dresses, deodorant, lotion, markers, paint brushes shoes, purses, hair dye kits etc. and all of it brand new in multiples. And items change all the time. Maybe there’s one near by you.
The blue fan listing shows the price to be $65 but the shipping is $98.30. That seems to be an exorbitant price for shipping. Did you take that into account when deciding not to get it?
I think with the Patriots you could probably get a bit more than those other teams. I would list for $250 + whatever the highest shipping cost you saw in a sold comp was
Part Time Picker I hope this message finds you. I have been selling on ebay for 13 months now inspired by your videos. I find it very hard to consistently list items due when I reach a certain number of sales for the month ebay seems to cut me off so to speak. It is quite obvious as traffic seems to dramatically drop and I'll have hardly any sales. I've been unsuccessful in breaking past 2500 a month in sales. I have tried upping my listings from the 300ish range to 500 and it still seems that I get cut off. Did you experience this when you started? Do you have any advice on how to overcome this? Thank you
I’ve felt that way many times. I’m not sure if it’s in our heads, or if there really is something to it. All we can do is keep listing better stuff. Thanks for watching
Takes a lot of practice but most season resellers (I’m not one lol) are crazy good at seeing profit. I love going thrifting with vets. They teach me so much.
From my ebay experience, you could improve your product photography set up. It doesn't cost a lot at all, but it can make a difference. Perfect pictures on smooth white backgrounds meane more $$$.
Love your videos and finds, I’m considering selling on eBay. I only have Poshmark. Is it hard to sell on eBay, how do you base the shipping cost? Shared on Twitter 👍
eBay is great. When you start out use charged calculated shipping. It would be best to pre-box/bag your items so you know the exact shipping weight and dimensions
@@PartTimePickers thank you for the advice! Any other tips, please do a video for new eBay sellers! Have a nice day! May you sell your entire eBay store!!!😎🙏🏻👌🤩😀
Sometimes the outlets don’t work properly maybe you should try a different one I find that to be the case at the secondhand stores that I go to Just saying 👍
over the past 5 years i bought dvd recorders from thrift stores and just put them in storage and did nothing with them can anyone tell me if dvd recorders are worth anything?
@@PartTimePickers I prolly got 40 of them just sitting in storage but the only problem is pretty all of them have no remotes or cables it's just the recorders with there plug and nothing else
Really weird I see a lot of RUclipsrs buying stuff in thrift stores at what we consider here in Florida outrageously high prices I guess it is very different in different states I wouldn't think of paying some of the prices that I see guys pay for we have better luck here on Facebook marketplace buying and bulk and getting good deals our stores are far overpriced. We also have a good amount of garage sales every weekend that you can go to.
I do this all the time. When anything goes wrong in my house or vehicles I hit as many thrift stores as I have to to find the money to pay for it. Gotta love being a reseller.
We are definitely lucky. If something goes wrong all we have to do is push a little harder to find the deals. Thanks for watching 🤙
@Pick Like A Pro Money's out, money's back in; right? Lol!
@@goforaprofit634 always lol. Just like a real job except if we work 8 hours we make hundreds instead of a hundred and change lol.
I love that little made in USA fan!!

Congratulations. You have your brand new water pump! Love learning from you! Thanks 😊
I miss hearing “I gotta be the first one there”.
I will sing it every time I go out thrifting.
It’s basically the first rule for resell to me. Haha
Haha. I still use it on my other channel. Thanks for watching 🤙
I just LOVE the music at the end and the recap of what you’ve purchased!
The story book player!! My kids are hoping we will find one at a thrift store one day because we have a book for it. Good pick up! I've looked then up on eBay but did not want to pay that much!
Hit me up on IG. I’ll hook you up

Electronics have been a challenge for us. Good to see you facing them head on! Lol!
Cheers!
If you include a deflated football with that Patriots lamp, it will sell faster.
This Steeler Nation fan (don't laugh at me!) wants NO part of a Pats item!
🤣

Wow You always do so well. Glad you can pay to get your car fixed. Great haul.
That ending makes the video! Now I hear that tune in my head when I make a sweet score! 😗

Does Eco carry water pumps? 😂
I can see it now...”comps are strong for this one, I’m gonna pick it up” 😂😂😂
Haha I should have looked

Sweet grabs!💜
Sup bro. Finally found a Biederlack! It was a throw blanket. Got it for a buck. Got it listed for $39. Someone posted the exact same one for $70.

Cha-Ching! Love your videos!
Hey Matt, do you ever pick up toys in boxes (i.e. puzzles or other toys) with packing tape on them? If so, how do you get it off to list?
On that cassette player, check for an inline fuse or breaker. It's made for a rack unit.
Great picks Matt!
Thanks Deb!

Just sold one of those blue blade fans, was asking 250 and took 175, I guess mines was the bigger one.

How do you speak into the ebay app to check comps?
@1:54 That's a busted outlet. Try the outlet by the bikes or the one up in the front counter.
