- Test of a Silent Knight 5208 in a small school. This system replaced a Standard Electric Time panel (seen enclosing the SK panel). However the Wheelock 33-24 horns were kept.

Love the sound of the system!
Indeed, before the Faraday buyout, Standard Electric Time was using Wheelock's horns. So was S.H. Couch (whom Faraday also bought).
Those horns sound healthy, love it!
Those horns sound cool!
cool a system on pulse
nice 60 BPM march! not very often do i hear that anywhere.
@@lol-to4me how so?
you are appearing to have the same username as me. is this a glitch, or do we share a username?
System is grandfathered, which means keep the horns but newer panel
whats funny is that both previously and currently the horns fit the panel, as wheelock is working with honeywell.
Why is the 6 on the clock in the thumbnail crossed out? Vandalism, or that the people in this building believes that the number 6 is unlucky because of 666?
Sounds like a car alarm
Looks Cool!
Alarms:
Wheelock 33-24's
Wheelock MT
or a Wheelock AS.
No strobes? When was this school built?
System is grandfathered into
The system is grandfathered. It was likely installed in the 70s.
Flush mount wheelock 34T's ???
I like the new sound activated system
I think 33s have uncoated diaphragms but not the vandal resistant grill.
So can you change the pitch of a 7002T like you would on a CH70 or is it the case where you're stuck with the pitch it ships with?
They are mechanical devices. Each one has a slightly different pitch. The pitch can be affected by how the horn was manufactured and the condition that the horn is in. This applies to any mechanical horn and even some electronic horns that use analog components. One good example of this is the System Sensor MASS. If you listen to a video of these, they will each have a slightly different pitch even though they are electronic.
those are rare they do sound like 9838s
Those flush horn plates are cool or is it one unit?
60 BPM huh.
Was the panel that got replaced a SET7000?
Yes
I like this system!
Nice!
Wheelock 34-24 on flush plates
They are 33-24 horns not 34-24
@@ThatOneExoRailfan 33-24s are grey, those are red but painted over.
@@Davesand2003 i heard 33-24 are flush mount horns.
@@Davesand2003 33-24 is also red. I saw a youtuber have one
60 BPM March time.
Or pulse
@@bjthedjdutchdude1992 fair enough.
They have these exact same horns at Deerbrook mall
Is This Elementary School
So glad these old sounds are going away. Our schools system sounds so much better and students respond better to them. great video though.
That is a really unpopular opinion in the fire alarm community lol
@@joshc7348 it isn't for schools with students with Autism.
@@Stingray4 Do you really think so? I think most such kids would rather have chime/strobes than horn/strobes given how many Autistic individuals there are with sensitive hearing (including myself).
@@TheCarson116 the alarm I'm referring to is two bells then says there's a fire reported in the building... so much easier on sensitive kids. I too hate loud sounds.
@@Stingray4 So...a voice evacuation-capable system with a chime tone I guess, thought you might have meant electronic horn/strobes.
That should be slow march time
Whats diffirent from the 33-24 and the 34-24? i thought theyre the same thing
The 33 is flush mount, it's essentially the horn-only version of the 7001.
@@rudoprocopio186 thats just a flush mount plate mounted onto the 33's. Its not a flush mount.
Power consumption
@@HenBasketFireAlarms how much Current does it take
@@ThatOneExoRailfan probably somewhere between .125 amps and .063 amps, assuming it’s the 24V version
I have a question Just out of curiosity are you a furry?
Mhm, he is (not that there's anything _wrong_ with that). His other channel (which he links in the description of every video he uploads) is his main/furry channel.
How do you know they're 33-24's instead of 34-24's?
Its flush mounted
@@bruh3120 I thought the flush plates were sold separately though. And there's another video of a 33-24 that but has a projector attached. Maybe the 33-24 has a different casing that's optimized for these accessories?
