I'm a rock musician, and this is the first time i have ever watched a kpop show - never even dreamed i would. I must say these gals are ADORABLE, and Dosie has absolutely captured me....
Timothy, I have a Very wide spectrum of musical interests from Bulgarian Choir to Danish Technopop, and of course the standards of Rock, Blues, Jazz, etc. I play Blues/flamenco guitar and grew up in a musical family. These girls are really an enigma to me. Sure they're georgeous and fun and personable but their musical repetoir transcends traditional K-Pop, they are much more than that. From a Rock perspective Check out their My Heart Skips a Beat video and then look at Ponzona, Then for a change look up their version of Doja Cat's Vegas or look up Bittersweet. I don't think there's a video for that one yet but it's a great pop track I could go on and on.. There's so much musical diversity with these girls though that spans the gammut of many musical genres. Welcome to the purple side. Spread the word. Cheers.
@@Rabid-Pinocchio i am so surprised with how much i like this groups music. its really tasty and well done pop, even with the clunky lyrics and such. its really a lot of fun. thanks for your reply.

Lyrics, tbh I don't pay much attention to lyrics unless they are very profound but the vast majority of song lyrics are just a re-hashing of the same ol thing. I'm more about how the music touches me so I never really noticed the clunkiness that you allude to but I'm sure you're right on that score. Thing about these girls that constantly excites me is that they cannot be shoved into a box. Most K-Pop is from a can, at least to me, same beat, same tone, same singer, over and over. I don't find this with Purple Kiss. For example I was tooling around and found a video of them doing a Bossa number, talk about tasty, I think that Astrud Gilberto would have been proud... IN any case as you can probably tell I am hooked.. Cheers.

Im not gonna lie i didnt even know they were coming to Portland and im upset at myself for missing their concert hopefully their is next time
