I'm a former A-10 pilot from 74th Fighter Squad and the USAF will be upgrading the A-10's for use until 2034 so they will be flying for years to come. This was one of SEN John McCain last bill he implemented before passing away
McCain gave us Obamacare for which I’ll never forgive home for. BUT, him being key to restoring life into the A10 program makes me not despise him so much. Thank you for your service!

the warthog is an amazing beast, takes out armored vehicles and buildings and can level a forest. it is very slow but lethal. tops out at just under 500mph. the military has threatened to stop the warthog program many times but it is still in use today. it is just too valuable to throw away. love the rc version of this plane. it is a beauty.

Great aircraft. We would call them in for CAS in Afghanistan. I owe my life to those pilots and that GAU-8 Avenger cannon. Have fun flying it.

I used to work on F4 Phantoms (VMFA-542) when I was in the Marine Corps. As much as I love that bird I'm even more smitten by the A-10. What a cool looking bird and what a fantastic platform for ground support.
I am 100% getting this RC. I can't express how much I love the A-10 and how many times a pair of her showed up to save our butts.

I can’t thank you enough for your videos and the quality content which has been so valuable to me as a newbie. I’ve watched numerous videos multiple times and gain added understanding with each viewing. To Abby: I hear the kindness and good heartedness in your voice and it’s a welcomed touch. Thanks to both of you for keeping it real and informative. I live in Northern New Brunswick, Canada and there is nobody flying model aircraft in my neck of the woods so again, you can imagine the valuable resource the videos are for me.
I grew up watching A10s fly over my house. After college, I lived near a USAF base equipped with 2 squadrons of these amazing planes. This is an amazing plane, and the E-flite sure did it justice! Excellent review!

I built one about that size years ago from a GWS kit. I powered it with a 480 out runner in the tail on a 11. to 12 inch prop. Hand launched and belly landed in our grass field. It would climb up forever with that large prop on the back!!! What a blast! I fiberglassed the entire airframe

I saw Horizon Hobby's video of Jason Merkle flying the A-10 yesterday and it sounded a lot louder and looked faster. He claimed over 100 mph level flight top speed. Sounds to me like he was challenging you to do a speed test. :-) Thanks again to both of you.
Thx for the gr8 video Nate i enjoyed it alot, i should tell you that i am a retired SSGT from the USAF and i had the great privilage and honor of working on the Hog as a crew chief with the 81st Tactical Fighter Wing at RAF Woodbridge in the UK. I was launching these warbirds into battle during Desert Shield/Desert Storm; i literally was completely choked up watching you fly this iconic piece of American History. Yes, the Air Force still uses this bird today; i am just now getting into RC hobbying i have the Habu RTF on order right now; when i get comfortable this jet will definately be in my arsenal; again thx for the awesome video.

I’ve got a few more planes/EDF’s since the a-10 64mm purchase I forgot how much I loved flying it, how easy it is to fly and what a blast I had flying it. (I know... 1st world problems)
Glad this showed up in the Feed. I need to get it back out and enjoy the heck out of flying it. (The Twin Otter on floats, the Eflite a-10 and the ArrowsRC Viper were my Top 3 most enjoyable planes to fly last year. Stress-Free fun)

Lol just watched this on horizon. It’s neat no doubt. I literally ordered the eflite havoc today and am super stoked. You gotta get the havoc if it’s your thing. My interest with the havoc was with a 7000-8000mah 6s can get 12 minutes of flight and that and flaps and the huge flight envelope sold me on it. Awesome vids those you all. Thx
Man the A-10 is a beautiful jet they have been in yous since 1972 it is a great jet and im glad they have come out with a bigger and more scale rc version of the A-10. I am in the flight line of Whiteman airforce base in Missouri and I see A-10s all the time flying super low right above my house and what's really cool is when you see 6 A-10s refilling there fuel from 2 tanker jets above your house way up high or doing there training maneuvers above the field by my house I just can't get over of how cool this Jet is the tank in the sky the warthog!!!

I really appreciate the way that you guys are flying this!!! People need to realize that EDFs can fly for a long time if you are flying like a normal person!! Nice to see that Eflite used FMS to get this plane perfect! A plane of this size for 6s is perfect!! Also.... do not use foam safe CA on this plane!! It is EPO which regular CA (medium or thick) works perfect on! The right type of hot glue works well as you guys have said. Keep up the good work!! Great video!!
I did a maiden flight on my A-10 today and the nose gear broke off taking off. That's right, taking off, not landing. The grass was smooth but apparently I hit a divot it couldn't handle. Fortunately I ordered extra strut pins when I ordered the plane. Now they are out of stock until June. But I must say it is a very nice plane. The pins on the F-16 Thunderbird bend and the ones for the A-10 snap. By the way, I own a Honda fit and the A-10 fits in it just fine. The interior is bigger than you think.

Nice....I remember the A-10 warthog during my military service(Army)....the gattling gun fires so fast you see the smoke from the guns, then you hear the sound a 1/2 a second to a second later very delayed the warthog is the standard of war planes....beautiful plane my man

U of A student here, loved seeing the hogs fly over in formation every day! Back home now and I miss them already.
I moved here almost 27 years ago, and have never grown tired of watching them fly.

I will be buying that soon. I was in the USAF when they introduced the first 6 A-10’s. I worked on all the weapons systems. I even loaded 30mm ammo in the GAU-8 Gatling Canon(Gun). As well as working on it. I was in on some of the missile Testing on this Aircraft. By the way the motor actually sound almost like the real ones when you do a fly by. Awesome Aircraft and flying there. Thanks for sharing.

Love this one :-) I'm not much of a scale guy but the A-10 has to be my favorite :-) I have an old Hobby Lobby A-10 that I bought a long time ago that I fly a couple of times a year. It flies soooo nice. Everyone stops flying to look at it when I have it up in the air. I would love to have this one, it looks soooo good. I love the A10,,, tank killer! It's truly a beautiful beast, which is of course.due to its 50 cal Gatling Gun up under the nose, which literally just blows holes through practically anything it comes in contact with, aswell as being able to fly home with 3 quarters of the wing missing, which was documented.
