Henry if you want to see Sicily at its most picturesque you should go in spring when everything is green and all the wildflowers are in bloom...and the scent of orange blossoms is ever present.

Comparing this to TG is doing Carfection a disservice - this is so much better.
@@FelipeQueirolo DriveTribe is dead. Rupert Murdoch backed it because of Clarkson's involvement but it's failing badly. They thought they could just sign Henry and Jethro for six months to get the channel off the ground but it didn't work. Same with evo, the magazine has gone downhill and the YT channel is incredibly flaky these days. It used to have the likes of Henry, Jethro and Chris Harris. now it's basically a channel for promoting and live streaming auctions.
Not sure about that. As previous Top Gear fanboys only looked for entertainment and not cars.
I don't usually comment but I wanted to say thank you for the content. The production is top notch and I love that you tell a story making it more than just a simple review. You guys are a great team. Been a long time follower and have watched at least 90% of your uploads. Thanks again.

I love the fact that the video includes history, a lost legacy of the track and a review of the car. Amazing storytelling.

The sound of the car is so raw. And so menacing. And brutal. It haunts supercar drivers in their sleep.

So good I watched it twice. Can’t understand all the fuss about who’s presenting Top Gear, with RUclips channels like this Top Gear’s irrelevant.
Targa Florio is definitely on the first spot on my "Roads to Drive on" list. And what a film this was to capture it in all it's glory.
Always said it, will say it again, Carfection doesn't make simple RUclips videos. They create art.

I've seen many of the Carfection videos and always especially enjoy Henry's videos - always informative, enthusiastic yet approachable and never patronising. Would be great to see your team making it onto TV, but I guess TV producers just think that car shows need dumbing down for the masses. So, I'll just be grateful to be part of a small, niche audience who simply just enjoy cars, and watching the videos you make. Please don't change a thing.
The content has always been top notch but I feel like lately it’s been on another level. Thanks for all the time and effort you guys put in to making these videos

Carfection is for sure one of my favourite channel on youtube. They use really interesting cars and bring a largely forgotten world of motoring back to life for a new audience with such breath taking cinematography.
To think this RUclips channel I subscribed to oh so long ago has turned into this. Literally the best car channel out there. Bravo!

I chime with many others in saying it feels like the best of TG before they got arsey and thought stupid was funny. Wonderful to hear intelligent commentary expressing a broad education and actually understanding what makes up a car technically, and protagonists who can really drive, whilst also imparting great historic detail.

How can anyone criticise either Henry's driving or presenting skills? There must be some truly awe inspiring people out there; if they think they can do better.
As per the norm, a truly magnificent production. Certainly my favorite motoring journalist. You sir are talented and passionate and those together make for spectacular and amazing content.

It's lovely how italy has always embraced the car culture on their roads (and still pretty much do). Seems that you're not supposed to enjoy cars anywhere else in Europe that much...

They should have made the C-X75. It would have been perfect in the mix of hybrid hypercars like the P1, LaFerrari, and 918. Hope you had a chance to eat a delicious meal while in Sicily! Yes, the flavors of gelato there are amazing!
I'm gonna be honest I'm still bitter about the name change from xcar to Carfection. That was dumb. But this video was absolutely amazing. The writing, the production value, the location and the great storytelling behind it, the driving and narration by Catchpole... top notch stuff. I've watched the channel change and grow in over the years and I gotta say the quality is certainly up there with Top Gear and The Grand Tour (if not better). Bravo, guys, bravo.
