That is my aunt, Clara Walker and cousin, Rose with the guitarist. Check them out on the "Summer Of Soul Concert", in Harlem on NETFLIX for another Spirit filled experience. Clara and Rose loved Jesus. The electricity you still feel from these songs after all these years shows you personally that the Redeemer still lives. He is, " nigh unto them that are of a broken heart and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit."Psalm 34:18. Continue to call on Him and rely on him. Keep your hands in the the Lord's hand's Vincent, my son and all those reading this.(Dance in the Holy Spirit and be REVIVED!)
I'm watching it now my beautiful sister. I can't get enough of the artist fast enough 😆. This is the year of my birth 69. And I know now why I am full of music and the spirit. God bless you and your family ❤️
Blessed be his name and the way He inspired us to worship Him. The three women glorifying His name are carrying that message to my 54-year old back stabbing heart, half way around the world.
I've been a 53-plus years musician FOR GOD now. I admire the handsome director with his serious posture and appearance which arouses my desire to hear that choir..... Didn't mean to rhyme so much.
Would this have played late at night on a station in Louisiana like during the 60s??? I have memories of my Momma(who was a night owl) watching g this and getting so excited when they'd start dancing or jumping up and downs he was Catholics never missed church but I believe she'd have been right at home in a Black Baptist church's he taught me the Lord was Everyone's Lord Finally got to watch Summer of Soul and when they played it brought back that memory. Can someone tell me if Im.right about this being on TV in the 60s?
Rowoches My mother booked Mrs Walker and her group for all the Usher anniversaries, she and her husband were members of Grace Baptist Church in Brooklyn.
Rowoches! I just love your channel thank you! I actually had to stop the video. I have to listen to this when I get home. Omg that singing and playing!
I cannot think of the artist name right now but that is definitely not Clara Ward or any of the ward singers I believe that is one of the Caravan singers who made Mary Don't You Weep and I hit was don't move my mountain and another one of her hits was just for me who died in 2013
@@Rowoches that's Kitty Parham that's who that is that's not Inez Andrew if you Google Parham you will see her doing that as well as other songs today when our biggest hits was we shall be changed I am known where near these people age I'm only 50 living in New York City but I come up out of church and my mother and grandmother had all of them people music LOL LOL
When you mentioned "Mary Dont You Weep" and "Lord Dont Move The Mountain," and "Just For Me," I assumed you were trying to remember the name of that artist. That's why I answered 'Inez Andrews'. She's the one who did those 3 songs. Also going back to your original comment, the name of the artist is Clara Walker, not Clara Ward or Kitty Parham. I'm familiar with all of the named legends.
@@Rowoches you are 100% right that's who I thought it was at first but then when I seen the video watch the full video I realized that Inez Andrew don't walk the floor and get all holy fight like that she's with stand elegantly and do what she did and the church will catch on fire LOL LOL
Sister is working that guitar! Yes!
SING ! The lead is killing me!!! GET ALL IN IT! Love this

I remember Mrs Walker singing for the Usher board anniversaries at Grace Baptist Church in Brooklyn NY.
Rodney Perkins : I'm quite sure that this is NOTHING compared to how the experience was in person!

You're referring to the late Inez Andrews

You're right. It is not Clara Ward, it is Clara WALKER and The Gospel Redeemers
That's my aunt
Do Clara Walker & the Gospel Redeemers still live?
4 May 2007 - Bob Laughton informed TBGB today that Clara Walker, formerly of the Gospel Redeemers, died this past Sunday in New York.
Bishop Ron Gibson sings this!!
