Me too, 50 yo, but I got into cubing 4 years and 100K solves ago, now I'm averaging 15. I was able to solve the cube when I was under 10 but there was no speedcubing thing yet, although I lubed my Rubik's with soap back then. I wish someone told me to time my solves.
Sub-5.5, 3rd place, WITH a mistake in timer stop in solve 1 AND a very bad LL case in solve 5. That is crazy!! Congrats and I'm so glad to see how happy u are :) And the moment u shared with Ruihang was such great moment, great sportsmanship! Cubing has entered a new crazy era after COVID, who knows what would happen in Worlds 2025? All the best and I'm so excited to see new heights achieved by all the world class cubers like u in the future!
Brilliant solving, Tymon. I'm a bit surprised you didn't opt to do EO->ZBLL for the last solve seeing as I've seen you do it for the mirror of that OLL

you and yiheng both coming so close to sub 5 averages is crazy and so close to world champion but you have so many more chances to show everyone your greatness and after doing so great on big cubes im sure you and max will be battling it out to hold WRs in no time

Speedcubing ( i cubingowa społeczność) sprawia wrażenie pozytywnego sportu. Ale gdzie zaczynają się większe pieniądze... Za kilka lat może być mniej niewinnie i sympatycznie.

It is the Gan 12. The two shows that it’s his backup cube. A lot of top cubers do this but I don’t know why he was using it officially if it’s not his main

53 YO here. First solved in 1981, started CFOP for a pandemic pastime. Sub-30. Addicted. Good to see other older solvers here.

During his 5.09 former WR average, he uses this alg, so I think he uses the other one for EO to ZB which is also what I do, but not this one
