@@sadieladydubois2763 home is definitely my favorite place to be- and it’s pretty affordable too 🤣 thank you so much- it was yummy to have all those garden fresh veggies together!
It's the weirdest thing, growing up in my small town myself, seeing this type of lifestyle wouldn't have appealed to me at all. Now that im older, this looks like absolute heaven on earth. Clean food, clean home, happy family... what else could you want outta life? 100% agree with the water filter too. I didn't see a link to the filter you have, but i love my "Waterdrop" filter (from amazon) with Berkey filters. Have a great day! Edit: I've heard some promising results from "Red Acre" cabbage, and its around the time to plant. Just a thought.
It wasn’t on my radar growing up either- although my great grandma did live this lifestyle and she grew a garden and preserved and did all the awesome things- I wasn’t really aware of it until I was older. Now looking back I see how the way she lived her life was peaceful and fulfilling- unhurried and calm! Now I only aspire to be like she was- and she loved people and had a cozy and happy home! I added the link to our water filtration system- we’ve had it for 4 years now- and we change out filters seasonally! I love that I don’t have to worry about the water we’re cooking or drinking- it tastes 100 times better than tap. I will look into the cabbage as soon as I get my little garden area tilled I’m gonna try and plan my fall garden asap!
@TheBluegrassFamily oh, I just looked at the water filter system. Do you add anything to the water when you drink it? If not, aren't you worried about the long term negative effects from drinking RO water?
@@Joshua.zero29 I add sea salt and lemon juice to my water in a glass jar and store that in the fridge. We eat a very healthy diet- with a lot of different vegetables as well as drink raw dairy. It’s not a concern of mine at this time. I know there are varying opinions on the RO systems though. But the water where we live is an issue right now- and it makes me feel better that it is filtered so well. 😊
Loved the show, Sweetie...Keep on, keeping on. You will look back on all of it and smile.
Thank you so much that means a lot to me 💗 I appreciate it, I will keep on keeping on- wishing you all the best and many blessings 😊
I am most happy at home too!! Your country vegetable plate looks delicious!!!
