We sadly lost him to complications from AIDS & the fashion industry has all but erased him from history. The first Marc Bouwer gown Whitney wore was her iconic white gown for OMIT at the ‘89 Grammy’s. He was on the come up and she loved him & would buy entire collections. He credits her for his career. When I saw Whitney at The Oakland Coliseum in 1989, she sang He,I believe and I have never been able to forget it. It gave me goose bumps and was the best performance in the whole concert. They should really release this live performance of He, I believe as a single and on CD and vinyl. I have been telling people about her performance of this song for years, after I witnessed her Great and moving performance. The song hearing it again by her incredible voice, brings tears of the spirit to my eyes.
