King Cal nah. He didn’t make it better; he just made it his own. Denzel’s flow is exactly on the beat and more metal and screaming in key, where Zack’s flow is smoother and sometimes behind the beat which makes it sound more natural. 2 different styles.
And on top of that, Tom’s solo makes a big part of the song stand out. Replacing that with the verse from Sirens puts it slightly under the original. Again, Denzel is just making it his own and not trying to reproduce the original, which would have been an insult to the original, especially if done wrong.

"Give it so much energy to a different genre? That's unheard of!"
Oh, boy, that is all what rock'n'roll is all about: BLENDING OF GENRES, to build up something so unique!
It began back in the 50's with Blues and Country getting blended, and just went on, when the blend of disco and soul music fueled hip hop, and when shit went heavier and heavier in rock'n'roll, and with the mixture of genres and rhythms went on and on...
Rock'n'roll is all about blending music genres. Hip hop is its own thing, but it's also part of rock'n'roll history! Chuck D (Public Enemy) said "it came all from the damn blues!" Couldn't agree more!

I was young, had certain misconceptions about it and never took the time to actually listen to it and break it down. I got older, put my differences aside and gave it a chance and everything changed. Today I love it, appreciate it so much and it’s one of my favorite genres!! Glad to see you’re having a similar experience with metal/rock music. No singer can give a propper rendition to a RATM song if he doesn't have that anger Zach had in his performances. Every RATM song spits anger.

Some might not, but I kinda like Denzel throwin his own little flavor in this... I'm not big on people doing "covers," but I do like this. Also, whoever it is playing the instruments, changing the "sound" a bit does it justice. Hats off to em... Denzel too. I'm pretty sour on where Rap and Hip-Hop is right now, and this sort of thing is terribly needed right now. Denzel has some legit talent. I'm impressed...
