REVERSE BULLET HELL, WITH MINING
Kill bugs, upgrade your gear, and delve ever deeper into the lethal caves of Hoxxes. Complete the mission objectives set forth by the Company, and make it back to the Drop Pod in time to try your luck at even more deadly and lucrative encounters. Progress deeper and deeper into the planet while you grow ever stronger, survive all the way to the very end of your assignment, and finally get extracted alongside your hefty sack of loot.

His videos are long but it's nice to watch his decision process. You can always skip ahead. 🙂
I could see that ending up a popular video for sure, but Cub is extremely thorough in explaining his decision making process, watching any haz 5 run is like a 400 level course in how to do haz 5 lmao

I've gotten to the point where if I get that new boss on the first stage of a run I just restart the run. It is so difficult to get damage on it, it's not worth the effort to me. I feel your pain, it is nice to know I'm not the only one struggling to bring it down.
Me too. I wasted so much time trying to kill him on stage 1, even if I manage to do so, by the time he's dead, the other bugs are faster than me and the smallest ones deal like a 100 damage...
Krakatoa is the only one that can somewhat deal with him on stage 1 imo, if I'm playing something else, immediate restart.
If you get a good build rolling or just some good movement speed early, the rolly boss is just an added bonus really. You can get 30+ level in the first stage - today got 12 cryo grenade with mining plus another 2 overclocks before it finally died. I guess the gold scanner helped a lot there, but still...
Imagine having a final boss that is a Giant Rolly Boy...
Vomit boy needs a nerf for sure. At the very least they should remove him from stage 1 boss pool. I'd rather fight the Dreadnaught on stage 1.
I'm trying to get the demolitionist to 60 for 3 days now, no chance, the puker does not care about 2 or 3 grenades exploding 10 meters from him, not one bit.

Been trying to do hazard 5 salt pits in the new patch. Trying to do classic scount to 60 as well, since those are the two goals. Seeing how hard Cub struggles makes me feel better about not being able to do it 😂

That has got to be the most powerful weapon seen so far! almost 69 million damage and 80 million cold damage?!
Since the new update I've been having such a hard time on hazard 5. If I get the rolly boss in the 1st or 2nd stages it's usually an insta-loss for me.

2 Rolly bosses ARE hard depending upon your build.
The 1st time I played after the patch I had a bugged game where I got THREE Rolly bosses on the 2nd stage!!!!
The 3rd health bar appeared centred under the other 2 and was slightly clipped into the bottom of them.
It's never happened again since (even in that run) but that was TOTALLY INSANE!
If you thought 2 was bad - 3 was a BL**DY NIGHTMARE! 😱
I would love to see Hazard 6 with 3 boss spawns and see how you like 3 of the Rolly bosses at once 😆

And now you know the problem with that build and the Twins.
I tried the same thing with a Boomstick instead of the Cryo Drones as my final weapon.
You really need a way to target the Shooty-boi boss - so the Nishanka or the M1000 which cuts through to whichever has the highest hp.
When I tried this build with either of the above 2 weapons the Twins became SOOOO much easier.
No more hiding in a crowd of Bulky-bois Mr Shooty. 😁
Also it switches targets if one is lower hp.
You need to do a run where you can't use the shop

If you have a line to the Devs you may want to ask if they implemented freeze and burn just like DRG. If so, burning can unfreeze a frozen enemy. If they did this, the subsequent question is whether they also implemented temperature shock. It's really hard to tell in the video here with all the numbers, but temperature shock is a damage that applies when a target unfreezes due to burning, or if the target stops burning due to freezing. In effect, you might be working against your own best interests by having both burn and freeze in a build.

i just constantly die in hazard 5. to the point where i'm probably just done playing this game. it isn't fun.
