Phantom Knights will always be THE Dark Horse archetype. It'll always have a spot in the Meta one way or another and the new support finally showcases the Deck on his own.
@@im_yucky Trust me we do play them. Dark Requiem is cool for Rusty plays with the new RUM. That requires Dark Rebellion which isn't that optimal going first but it's good nonetheless. Arc Rebellion is the perfect OTK tool with Raiders' Knight. So yeah, we do play the Xyz Dragons but it depends on the build.
The decks finally starting to get the respect it deserves. Decks literally insane, can play through almost anything, and can set up near unbreakable boards. It can play through multiple hand traps and still set up 3 plus negates. Buster lock is also always something it can fall back on. It claps a lot of the more popular decks right now such as Dinos, prank-kids, zoo, and pretty much any combo deck.
@@firatd.monkey7330 xyz and link monsters don’t really get spell and trap negates. Monster negates are all that really matters in this format , you can’t respond to most meta spells and traps anyways.
Cali bro, I followed your advice on dropping the tour guides and I gotta say man, I love it. Deck feels way smoother and able to play through handtraps consistently :) Thank you so much man this video helped me improve my PK build quite a bit
The new camera is great! Also tho I like the fact the deck doesn’t need tgu anymore but personally I do still run it as tgu+wings or fog blade=8 interruptions atleast and also I found if it wasn’t my tgu getting hand trapped it was my torn scales unfortunately haha great video tho as always!
That last duel was quite surprising; every time we think Phantom Knights are down, they return to haunt the meta like a monster in a cheesy horror series
I've been play testing Phantom Knights for a while now and it's a good deck, I think a few hits on the on the banned list and this deck can break into meta. Torn scales even gives the deck a 1.5 card ultimate falcon + buster lock combo!
Wow, this deck is really optimized for consistency. I like the versions that run at least 1 copy of the new RUM spell. Dark Requiem is literally 3 monster effect negations, and summoning it on opponent's turn lets you pop something with Rusty.
Avramax is another great budget choice! I:P + Cherubini is Avramax, and being made with I:P makes it a really hard card to out. Can't wait to build this deck and give it a spin!
New camera quality is great! The angle with the cards is *slightly* disorienting, for me at least. I would try moving the camera more towards you, and slightly adjusting the camera angle away from you. Just very minor changes to make it feel a little more natural. Edit: for reference, Im only talking about the combo section starting at 1 min, everything else was 👌👌👌
Yo Calieffect and everyone else you guys should check out that virtual world deck it's strong some dude from LCS went 12 and 0 and one at all it's like a better and more fun version of salads I love the deck. Also when the when TheCaliEffect said that Lulu was going to hit $10 she had 20 right now I can see you're going down to 15 at most she's that good for virtual worlds.
Remember that I played 3 or 5 game against this deck on Edopro, using Handtraps and Zeus to stop Tear Scale and Foolish Burial, this deck could be Tier 1 if it didn't had so many problems if handtrapped.
Just out of curiosity why aren't u playing the new rank 4 (Raiders wing), rank 5 (arc rebellion) package with requiem and the new RUM, In combo 3 you could have made rebellion off the break sword pop searched the new RUM off boots and either set it for a next turn pop with rusty on requiem (with 3 materials for negates) summon or shot gunned it straight away just in case?? I luv PK and this is one of my fav combos turn 1 just curious as to why you don't have it as an option in your specific build? I may be missing something XD
On the first combo, when you use Rusty to send one and set one, why didn’t you set the new PK Rank Up? Cause after you did the Rank 4 monster after destroying Breaksword with Rusty, you could’ve gone into Requiem. Lots better.
Honestly love the character Yuto from Arc-V. Dark rebellion is my favorite XYZ so I’m super happy this deck FINALLY gets some love. Just need those Speedroids😅
I need some ruling clarification. Do I have to target 2 phantom knight monster in my gy from break sword after eff when it is destroyed? And if I target 2 pk but 1 got called by the grave, do the other pk still return to the field?

People dont understand that a tier not only include a decks strengh but also representation. Even if PK has tier 1 potential it isnt even tier 3 if no one plays it. Same for Zoodiac, Prank Kids and ever, other deck out there
@@alexlane2303 The extra deck he's got isn't that inflexible. If you really want to, you can easily make room in the extra deck for the dark xyz gang. You could, for example, pull out I:P Masquerena, Knightmare Unicorn, and Evilswarm Nightmare. The deck would still function just fine.
I had to switch my imperm out for effect veiler because when i open up imperm and have to use it on my opp's turn, it would conflict with shade brigandine on my turn
Bruh, i had to spend my money on animadorned archosaur. plus, I need more non dino monsters for pill. so veiler is fine in dinos. Imperm is still better, but its not $60 for a playset better.
a budget option for imperm that I've heard works pretty good is forbidden chalice, it's also cheap too, not sure if this helps since it's late. I just picked up my imperm after getting lucky in maximum gold, but it's expensive still, yeah
I found using Edge Imp Sabres in the deck at 1, being useful, since its a dark lvl 3 fiend, you get synergy with tour guide and libic, and if you open up red-eyes fusion, you can foolish the sabres, send the REF back to the deck with sabres to get a free body and make your dragoon engine live again.
Went to locals for the first time since c0v1d and I lost every game -_- .... Moral of this story BAN DRAGOON (to let you guys know I was playing shaddoll invoked)
I use Dragoon in my pure Shaddolls, and I kinda agree. He's annoying! Especially if the opponent also has a floodgate on the board. If you try to kill the floodgate with removal, Dragoon just negates your removal .>:{

You can also use I:P to summon Avramax in your opponents turn. Also protects your rusty because your opponent can only attack avramax

Why not play the raider's knight - arc rebellion package instead of that sucky dark rebellion?
The meta players like making negating boards then otks plus you need rebellion to have requiems effects
