Vitamins are of no value unless you have a deficiency, and it takes significant malnutrition or age for that to occur. For the most part supplements are a huge scam.
This should be titled "Making bilberry tea." This is the least complex least nice smelling deodorant I can imagine. "We had no chance to try it." So you literally just did this to make a video? Did you at least smell it? Test how long the scent lasted applied to skin versus clothing? Anything?
It smelled like herbal tea and wine. because basically that is what it is. The way it works is through the alcohol and the acidity working against the bacteria on the body, it is not supposed to smell like anything and it doesnt have to because they would put other smelling substances on themselves for that purpose (rose water, camphor, clove oil, hair scent powder etc). I did have a chance to test it a while after this video was made and every body and every sense of smell is different and I sweat differently on different points of my cycle and obviously outside temperatures, but i did seem to work better than using nothing.
Using dressed lumber to start a fire, using pure white bleached linen probably bought for the purpose - gosh reenactors are shabby. There's less polyester pirate shirts, but the faux pas of everything they own being brand new from Estonia, or Poland, is cringe inducing. But burning dressed wood when lumber costs more than bloody silver is a crime. Literally walk outside, you'll find plenty of dead fall. Spend five seconds at it with an axe.
That is literally handwoven linnen fabric from my grandmas that is several decades old. it was a natural linnen colour once, a very long time ago. bleaching in medieval times works through laying the linnen out in the grass into the sun after washing and this is old linnen that has been washed a lot in its lifetime. It becomes white over time. Collecting dead fall is forbidden in Austria without the permission of the landowner. But we do have a working area by now that is surrounded by woods we are allowed to collect it in, so we use that for our newer projects.
I knew they had deodorant
I was always curious if they had deodorant before
I love videos like this!
Sehr hübsches Rezept ... und so einfach! Zumindest riecht man nach Wein! 😉😂 Wo bekomme ich jetzt noch auf die Schnelle die Heidelbeerblätter her?
wir haben sie bei denns bekommen.
so since then, did you try it?
Bilberries are also good for the eyes. (Vitamin A)

Thank you! 😊 + How should I let it cook near the fire?
in a ceramic pot. if you have a metal pot, you can let it cook over the fire ;-)

I have another question, I would like to ask you: Should I use blueberry leaves or just basically use billberry leaves?
*How long did she cook it?*
the longer, the better, we cooked it for about 2 hours, but the tanning agents will be released more if the broth has more time to heat.
