If You van avoid Marrakech, do it. Especially the Medina and the big market square. I have been stopped non stop. Constantly aware of not being ripped of or even threatened by Young Man. My longues are filled with gasoline gaz of all the scooters going true the Medina which for Me is a crime. The big Market place is nothing more than a market place. Prices are over the top and as always have to find out You paid much to much. My advice is travel to the Canary' Island's. So much cheaper and never trouble with being ripped off or hassled around. So if You have enough of it than fly from Marrakech to Gran Canaria with Ryan air, very cheap. From there You can travel by boat to any Isle You want for not to much and You will have a great time without having to be alert. Non stop. It is really very expensive here food wise in compare with Canary Islands. Not really clever. No more Marokko

She handed us a booklet with prices ranging from 700-900 dirhams. I think we talked her down to 140 dirhams.
She probably needed the money, we couldn’t stay upset about it.
@@OnePackWanderers Ugh! That’s sad but take it as a lesson/experience guys next time better not take decisions under pressure or just being too kind. Honestly these people doesn’t represent my country because I know how hospitable true Moroccans are but these scammers just make us feel shame
Tooop
I dont eat people am vegetarian 😂😂😂😂 that’s a good pick up line
Nice raid...what is their website.
Hello. The raid is called Riad Laora. They're located in the heart of the medina, and we'd highly recommend them. We found them on Hotels.com.
🙄$70 🤕? Is she using Amlow or henna ?? (Amlow is a mixture of Argan oil, almond and Hony)
The lady said it was henna 🤷♀️
No way!!!! 5 dollars for hannah is already too much!! Besides .. hannah at jamaa el fenah square is a bad idea.. you should do it somewhere else !
bro why did you pay her 50$ that shit only cost 1$ or 2 $ max that old women need to be ashamed >
Thankfully we only paid around $15. Still too much, but it was our first day and we had no experience 😂 I guess it was probably a good day for her 🤣
Don't worry guys I'm moroccan and i still get scammed because we are souq natives means you have to master negotiation and never ever take a service without finilazingthe price 🤣
It's a heck of a talent, for sure! Some of the Moroccans we've met would make very successful sales people in the US 😄
@@OnePackWanderers i n a sales person actually 🤣 moroccan in UAE
🇲🇦🇲🇦🙏🏻🙏🏻🌹🌷
Culture shock usually means you are from a small town in the US!!!!
Haha we've been to a fair number of places, but Marrakech was something new for sure!
dont pay more than 2$ for the tatoo
Well, too late for that. We ended up paying just over $16 😂
@@OnePackWanderers well you should know negotiating prices in Morocco is a thing :p nothing wrong with it, if there isn't a fixed price in the menu then for sure you can try to lower the price, they expect you to negotiate the price so at first they ask for a big price
@@se7enstill75 Oh definitely. We negotiated the tattoo price down from $70 to $16.
The girl looks like Asian or half Asian ?
Tia is half Japanese
@@OnePackWanderers she looks great
Hey Guys!!
Great content! i just subscribed to your channel.. I was expecting you to say something about your apple juice 😁
When I asked for an apple juice 21 years ago when I immigrated to the US from Morocco, I got the real apple juice. Our Moroccan Apple juice should be called an Apple Milkshake. 😆😆 but it s good though.
Hey! Thank you!
Hahaha the apple juice was very surprising! It is definitely more of a shake than a juice. Still tasted great though, and actually I think the fresh juice in Morocco was the best we have ever had, especially for the price. There's really good juice in the US but it's always really expensive.
hi firstly u are very awesome and welcome to my country . secondly about the scam u face if u scaring her about the police u will see the different . bcz in morocco they dont like this pp how harrasing people
Good to know! Thank you for the information 🙂
No more Marokko
brooo whaaaat did u pay 50 dollar for hanah ... no way
its only 5 $** .. man i feel bad
She asked for 700 dirhams and we paid 140 dirhams, so I think around $15.
Don’t feel bad, there’s a first time for everything and we learned from the experience 😂
@@OnePackWanderers oh okey i thought i heard 50 $... 15$ is fine but still a little bit too much 😅 but its okey tho like u said atleast u learnd something xD
They are just a little aggressive. 🤦♂️
@Walt's Travel Adventures
A little bit, but after a few days, we got used to it!
They don't speak well foreign languages so that's why they try to convince you by yelling at you or grabbing u
Sorry you got scamed ! For that design on the hands should not exceed 10 Dollars ! But anyway there re always bad guys in any society and hope you will come back again to Morocco ! Welcome !
Thank you!
And no worries at all. We would be fools to hold something like that against a whole country. It was no big deal, and we learned from the exchange.
Thank you ! We look forward to your next videos ! Take care !
The henna woman is a scammer You should have discussed the price with her before giving her your hand.If someone is harassing you at their restaurant or anything, Do not talk or smile with him and don't be nice to them. Because they are scammers
Indeed. Unfortunately this is very much a case of hindsight being perfect. We learned from the experience though, do not worry 🙂
You both look high lol
soory man you got scamed 50$ wiill get hanah for all your famille hands next time ask google for the cost
We paid about $15, but yep it was probably too much. Learned from the experience, at least.
