Building a fake rock while his automatic lawn mower mows!! Living the dream!!🎉
Yes... 😅 Without my little friend, I wouldn't have the time for artificial rocks.
Die Ausführung ist interessant und lehrreich. Das Ergebnis einfach klasse. Dankeschön!
Vielen Dank. 😊
The most natural DIY rock I've seen on you tube! Beautiful!
Thank you, good luck making rocks...😊
What?!…an automatic lawn mower in action?!! Awesome!!!😁😁😁
Yes, a good idea for a lot of meadow. 😄
Love it, best work I have seen and I've watched hundreds!!!❤❤
Oh, thank you very much, that makes me happy. Good luck with your projects.
I will use this technique when I build my rocks.
I'm happy about that, I'll probably make another small one this year, with plants on it.... Have fun.
The best hand made artificial rock that Ive seen made.
Oh, thank you... 😊
😍😍the roomba lawnmower!!😍😍 I want one!
Yes, a Husqvarna robotic lawnmower. It is really fantastic and saves many hours of time.
Sehr schön geworden 🤩👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Vielen Dank.
BEAUTIFUL
Tahnks... ☺️
Nicely done!
Thanks 🤩
Beautiful !
Thanks... 😊
Love this idea… could you leave a hole in the top and create a fountain? Glad I found your channel!
Thank you. I don't think that works. The concrete is not very thick and could be flushed out over time. But I'm not sure, maybe it will hold. 🤷😀
Hermoso trabajo, felicidades 👍
Muchas gracias, muy agradable. 😊
What is the cement being used..is it something special..what would I buy at the home store
@@davidmiranda5783 I didn't buy anything special. It is a ready-mixed concrete for outside in a 30 kilo bag. It is used for walling or plastering houses.
Nice job but too much work
Unfortunately, it won't be so nice with less work. But it's just an idea of how to do it. Everyone should use the material they have left, for me it was wooden strips and some polystyrene. ;)
Very very nice . You inspired me to try making a mountain for my Garten railroad . I am color blind , what are the colors you use . I love the frame work ., built to last a long time . Thank you for a great video
Thank you very much. I used normal façade paint, so yellow, some red and black. It should look like sandstone.
What robot lawnmower do you have? And do you like and recommend it?
This is a Husqvarna Automower 315, I think it's great, it saves me a lot of work and time and the lawn always looks great.
Fantastic texturing and color, very nicely done! I'm thinking about doing one of these as a water feature and wonder is it worth the effort to make the wooden frame? I've seen videos where forms were made out of stiff cardboard and hardware cloth then concrete/perlite mixes were sculpted on to this to create the faux boulder. Any tips would be appreciated!
Thank you very much. Of course, you can use whatever you want. I had wood scraps and liked the idea. Styrofoam is lightweight and durable, there are many options. Use more concrete and thicker walls so it doesn't collapse. If you have enough bricks, you can also build it up completely. For water, use concrete with a lot of trass additive. But the color will probably not stand it, they would have to dye it completely.
Great thank you.
Thank you very much. I always try to present things that I haven't seen before. And when it's just about size and execution.
Awesome!!
Thanks.
Gut gemacht
Vielen Dank. Hab mir Mühe gegeben... ;)))
Gut gemacht! Tolle Idee, tolles Video und coole Musik. Danke für die Inspiration :-)
Vielen Dank.
Very good work
Thank you.
My only concern is that using a soft area like the bags to build your structure would cause the concrete to crumble later on.
So far, the building has been stable for about 3 years. If you use enough concrete and the individual parts are thick enough, it should hold. Use more concrete for more stability. Of course, this makes it harder overall. Thank you for your comment.
Excelente trabajo
Muchas gracias. Vielen Dank.
Excelente te felicito animo sigue adelante con tus proyectos
Muchas gracias, y me gustaría verlo.
Bonjour sest magnifique sest quoi comme ciment svp
Merci.
Great
thanks
What is that cute AF power drill thing? I want it so bad 😅
A Bosch cordless screwdriver, it lasts really long. 😀
Me encantan
Profi.
Danke
Such mal nach "gartenlagune".
Richtig cool... 👍👍👍👍👍
Dankeschön.
Nice, but I think using styrofoam would have saved a lot of time
I used styrofoam in part. For the big hol room downstairs, however, I would have needed too much.
I hate online bloody experts
Good job

How heavy was it?
It weighs about 120 kilograms. I built a small cart under it and then pulled the rock to the place. The car is now still underneath in a hollow. You can also assemble the individual parts on site, depending on how big it should be.
@@HomeandGarden-Tutorials Thank you very much, that's a great idea.
@@flowerchild777 thanks...
bravo

a bit overkill on wood frame
That was residual wood and I think the idea is great, simple and economical.
@@HomeandGarden-Tutorials meant no disrespect, just seemed overkill. I like the rock, looks great!
@@Bodezefah No problem, if they have another idea that works better, feel free to write it. Thank you for your comment.
Spray foam would be a lot easier
Yes, but what does that look like? It has no edges like a stone.
@@HomeandGarden-Tutorials ah good point !
How much would a REAL rock cost you?
About 1200, - Euro with delivery, but the delivery is difficult at this point. It is unfavorable to come with a crane. In addition, you can ideally design your own shape and color. Here it costs only 3 bags of concrete, wood remnants and some paint. And time, of course, but it's fun. It cost about 50, - Euro.
Saksije
Blumentöpfe? Ok.
Construct shell, slather on concrete, dry. Done. I just saved everyone 15 minutes.
A concrete formwork with this shape? 🤣 How many bags of concrete do you want to pour in and how heavy should it be...? 😅 Or did I misunderstand or translate this?
Looks totally fake
You can design it differently. So far, however, most people have found the rock very real. 😉
Slowest video EVER.
Yes, that's right, it was my first video. Today I would compress it more. 🤷
i rather by one,too much work, plus he's the only one that sees the rock, while putting together, all those pieces of wood, because i don't see crap🤷♂️
Residual wood and some concrete and paint and already they have a perfect decorative piece. The work is fun and the form is freely selectable. It is light and does not require an elaborate foundation, you can simply put it in the meadow. Thank you for your comment.
