    Fantastic texturing and color, very nicely done! I'm thinking about doing one of these as a water feature and wonder is it worth the effort to make the wooden frame? I've seen videos where forms were made out of stiff cardboard and hardware cloth then concrete/perlite mixes were sculpted on to this to create the faux boulder. Any tips would be appreciated!

    • @HomeandGarden-Tutorials
      @HomeandGarden-Tutorials  Год назад +1

      Thank you very much. Of course, you can use whatever you want. I had wood scraps and liked the idea. Styrofoam is lightweight and durable, there are many options. Use more concrete and thicker walls so it doesn't collapse. If you have enough bricks, you can also build it up completely. For water, use concrete with a lot of trass additive. But the color will probably not stand it, they would have to dye it completely.

    Je ne comprends pas le polystyrène doit bouger à l'intérieur donc ça doit faire craquer le ciment à l'extérieur ?

    • @HomeandGarden-Tutorials
      @HomeandGarden-Tutorials  5 месяцев назад +1

      Je ne comprends pas la question, elle a probablement été mal traduite. Le polystyrène ne bouge pas, il permet de gagner du poids et assure la stabilité. Le béton ne se fissure pas, le rocher est toujours intact dans mon jardin. Meilleures salutations

    My only concern is that using a soft area like the bags to build your structure would cause the concrete to crumble later on.

    • @HomeandGarden-Tutorials
      @HomeandGarden-Tutorials  2 года назад +3

      So far, the building has been stable for about 3 years. If you use enough concrete and the individual parts are thick enough, it should hold. Use more concrete for more stability. Of course, this makes it harder overall. Thank you for your comment.

    • @HomeandGarden-Tutorials

      About 1200, - Euro with delivery, but the delivery is difficult at this point. It is unfavorable to come with a crane. In addition, you can ideally design your own shape and color. Here it costs only 3 bags of concrete, wood remnants and some paint. And time, of course, but it's fun. It cost about 50, - Euro.
