[V4] E0S1 Firefly + Asta vs Cocolia | No Ruan Mei? No Problem!

- Bit late to this suggestion because of Wuthering Waves addiction but at least it's out :D This is a semi-realistic run of an f2p firefly clearing next MOC without her best team.
All of this assumes 2+ months of farming on each character.

There has been a slight nerf to Firefly with this V4 update, but it really isn't that bad. It is still much stronger than its V1 counterpart so overall I'm calling this a W.

The run and build could've definitely been better as I could've run atk shoes on FF as I'm already running asta for speed boost, but just noticed it now after uploading it. I'll just fix it up next time I do a no Ruan Mei run.
Can you try it with bronya instead of asta?

Firefly is lucky to have access to Asta and Gallagher.
Hanya is not bad for Boothill. But we need a physical sustain for Boothill that is not Natasha.
why would you need a physical sustain? just let boothill do all the breaking
@@felixma9192 You see how good is Gallagher for Firefly? It's literally in the video.
Though, firefly takes advantage of super break much more than boothill, who just breaks them and they die. From what I’ve seen, boothill would prefer to break himself, while firefly relies more on super break.
@@griseo19 well the thing is Boothill does not need a physical sustainer he can easily use gallagher too because he does not rely on superbreak. He breaks boss enemies in 2 hits because he is a hunt unit.
@@mikurero1762 .....If the enemies has fire weakness. The same goes for any other sustain. Luocha/Aventurine is good for Boothill if enemy also has IMG weakness. Fuxuan is good with Boothill if the enemy also has quantum weakness.
But Firefly can just stick to using Gallagher for every boss. Gallagher is also designed for breaking.

Hello! I have a question: I have Robin E0 (I'm a F2P) and I wanted to know if she works well with Firefly. There are people saying Firefly works well with MC Harmony, Ruan Mei and Gallagher. Unfortunately, if I pull Firefly, I have to sacrifice Ruan Mei to get her because I only have 60 golden tickets (whatever it's called), I don't have Gallagher but I will probably get him if I decide to pull one of their banners or maybe not (it depends my ass luck) and I still haven't completed Penacony quest to achieve MC Harmony.
im not sure if Robin atk buff can affect Firefly trace (the Atk = BE one) maybe others can confirm this. Harmony MC is a must in Firefly team, without them Firefly will deal far less dmg. Gallagher is also good for the team but can be replaced with other Sustain, but if you can get him to E6 he's probably better than most Sustain for Firefly teamcomp.
Also if Firefly came home early instead of pulling her LC try getting Ruan Mei (She's just too good for Break effect teamcomp). Firefly signature LC perform a bit better than on the fall of an aeon S5 (The SU LC) so i think its just better to pull for Ruan Mei instead of Her LC.

Im kinda late to this but i just wanna know how asta helps firefly and would Robin be a decent substitute?
One of asta’s bonus passives gives 18% fire damage to allies, as well as some ATK boost and SPD. Ruan mei is basically robin but for break teams, so yes robin would make a good substitute (and her burst’s ATK buff will benefit only for firefly (others only need break effect, meanwhile firefly’s 3rd bonus passive is:
Firefly will gain 0.8% break effect for every 10 ATK that exceeds 1800))
Robin's atk doesn't work for Ff

Does DMG bonus affects break dmg??
I'm pretty sure it does, but I haven't done the numbers on it. Wait for the theorycrafters to do the calcs imo.

Dmg bonus does not effect break dmg. Break dmg is affected by other factors like your break effect stat, your character lvl, enemy level , their elemental resistance, max toughness (the higher the toughness the more it scales)

U could go E4 S5 and grab E1 ruan mei , E1 ruan mei adds a mini pela defense break to her already great ult and that affects break damage. basically u got options , i believe super break scales with how much weakness bar u would have done so essentially weakness break efficinecy is a huge multiplier.

No, need e6 so that you won't lose stacks
E0 asta honestly kinda sucks. If you want to you can just for the speed but I wouldn't recommend it.

crit stats are absolutely useless cause she scales poorly with it. her entire kit revolves around break effect

Just a question but is firefly going to be better with E2 pela or E0 Robin, or should I just forego all that and just go with E1 Asta?
Asta sucks without e6 and is even worse without e4. e2 pela is alright but you'd definitely be better off with Robin as her personal damage is just that good.

Hmm, Cocolia 4 cycle ? Guess i'll stick with my IL E4 since he done in 3 cycles and I dont have ruan mei.

I mean if you have him E4 you're pretty much just gonna pull for who you want and not care about if they're good

@@tom-wj6pk it means a lot when I'm looking for different DPS. In other half my Acheron e0s3 is not as good as expected, usually take about 5-6 cycle. Mine has better stats than my friend's but his Acheron only need 3 cycles cuz he has Silver Wolf S1. Right now full stars MOC is not a problem but in the future I'll sure struggle with current team.
