Take a drink every time Matt says "Absolutely" just make sure ya got plenty of tins
Do it!!
Orrrrr every time he whistles
Or when he says little. You'll have a stay in hospital for sure
I thought the same the “Rubble” being from the mines but it’s not….it’s extremely old landscape some of the oldest in the world and it’s all natural. Loving the episodes though Matt. Great work!
Loving these secret Pilbara spots...the first waterhole with the paperbark trees and red hill backdrop was my favourite.
Any Swimming hole or lookout in the Pilbara without the crowds or even a few people is the best place to enjoy the scenery , serenity and just unwind!
Deep Reach is always good but the best one is
the little natural spa's along the causeway at millstream... Lots of beers and watching the vehicles cruising past inches away.
That second camp spot in this episode was epic absolute perfection!!!!
Love the secret waterhole with that breath taking red Pilbara backdrop and mirror like water! Perfect place to enjoy the SUP, beer, fire, and sunset! Pure serenity....
Gidday Matt, the spot with all the paperbark and ya blowup board was stunning, peaceful little spots aren't they, probably been there myself in my teenage years ( 61 now ), but still remember the stillness, so awesome!!
I liked the river with the paperbarks, fed the fish, hammock in the tree, SUP out in the middle of butt f… nowhere. Just perfect. Hillbilly camp ovens , the best and supporting Aussie. Have loved following you on this WA adventure. First class. Thank you, I’ll be back out there 2022. So excited.
swimming hole with the sup and crazy back drop, feed looked amazing too.
G'day Matt, that would have to be my favourite episode so far, so much to unpack... Firstly it was welcoming to see you slow down a little to enjoy the wonderful things that WA has to offer, at the beginning I felt you were always rushing to the next destination without having a chance to enjoy the journey. The inclusion of the POV camera angles were absolutely awesome, made me feel like I was right there driving the same tracks!!!! Please include more of them. What did you do for a crust before becoming a RUclipsr? How laid back is your mate Wade... Cheers mate, looking forward to the next one
Spot with paperbarks, cliff backdrop and the honey hole. Perfect.
Wow, beautiful spot! The paperbark spot amazing…
absolutely loved the spot with the big paperbark trees clear waters and the big rock on the opposite side of the gorge and you cooked the ribs from Harry's cook book
Ahh the second spot was epic! The blow up SUP is awesome idea, think it might be my next addition.
The spot where you went for a sup. That water hole and camp looked amazing 👌👌
There's nothing i love more in a camp site the paper barks and a creek or river its my favourite
The swimming hole where you set up the hammock and had your paddleboard out would have to be the nicest looking spot in this ep!!
Your camp / swimming hole at the end of episode 1 (pizza camp) was amazing. That would be my favourite for the series.
Pana gorge for sure!!
Best touring series of the Pilbara on RUclips
Awesome trip, and respect the time you guys take to respect our country. Agree mining has a lot to offer and too answer for. Especially with profits going offshore. Take more than they leave. Cheers boys.
This was sick! Gotta love the first watering hole, beautiful scenery, steep red rocks, glassy water can't beat that in the middle of nowhere!
Actually probably one of the most spectacular swimming spots I've ever seen....the spot with the crystal clear water where you popped the paddle board in a tried to paddle with one hand
The Bush Rib Spot for sure! Even though every camp in this episode ticks all my boxes. They’re all as you would say “bloody stunning”! 😄🤙🏼
I’m a supreme guy myself, it’s my go to for pizza. 🍕🍕
Fave spot from this episode was the spot where you had the sup, with red cliffs in background and glassy water, how nice thatd be in summer!
WHAT A GREAT COUNTRY AMAZING LANDSCAPE..THANK YOU FOR ALL THIS VIDEO... GREAT RUclips CHANEL....
The first swimming hole was by far the most stunning. I just loved it. Makes me want to get out and explore life even more.
Firstly, sorry Matt, supreme all the way!! The watering hole you finished the last episode at and started this episode at was mint. Would have loved to see the two of you on the swing together 😂. Keep the quality coming 🤙🏼
This is the most beautiful spot youve ever shown (inland). The beach views always win, but this looks like Heaven.
Can not beat secret spots and local knowledge.Anywhere you can have hammock, swim, paddle board and fire wins for me.Very specky with the red ranges and paperbark trees 💙
Oh and Hawaiian pizza wins hands down 🤙🏻
has to be the gorgeous little camp ground with the paperbark trees, swing, crystal clear water and the stunning backdrop. what more could you ask for 👌 bloody beautifulll
Gregorys would def be the spot, unlucky ya didnt get the best camp area. Keep the pilbra videos coming 🤙
That spot where you cooked the ribs was absolutely amazing and I reckon you love it just as much with the amount you whistles
I lived in Karratha and I did a bit of exploring up there, I didn't know those hills were all ripped and then dumped like that. It's crazy shit. Like that blow my mind. I have been up on top of a lot of them in my 4wd.
Cheers mate
Let’s call it Croissant Creek haha. Beautiful spot that’s for sure! 👌🏻
The Pilbara is spectacular running a tie with the rest of the north of Australia, there is something special about the red dirt n blue sky. Used to go to Newcastle n Whyalla, but sadly no longer. All the rubble you saw is not a remnant on mining as the overburden is more like little rocks not boulders
Have to agree with most and say the secret "honey hole" spot was the best. Awesome 2 part episode, kicked a goal with this one.
From the lookout at the end of the ep, if you head further west there is a gnarly track back down to the river. Would have been good to see the cruiser get put to the test! Best waterholes down in that valley, Dogger's Gorge (or Ganyirriyanynha in the TO's language)
thanks for the tip mate might have to check it out on my way back down the coast!
what a beautiful spot it was , awesome ozz . My favourite swimming spot was in blackwater - in blackdown tablelands
My favourite has to be deep dale…. Great campsite and swimming hole, also holds a special place in my heart I remember sending it through a really soft spot of the rocky river bed on my learners in my old mans old d22 whilst he held on for dear life!
The first spot was absolutely incredible Matt. I can’t wait to get out and see places like that more often myself.
Good effort on keeping things on the down low.
Has to be the swimming hole with the SUP in this ep! The clear water was amazing in the footage so must have been even better in person. Loving the camp cooking too!
The swimming hole with the SUP. Secluded area, great scenery and crystal clear water 😍
Living the life Matt 🤙. That water hole with the rope swing and the stunning back drop absolutely stunning has to be the best so far
For sure Gregory’s, any place named after someone has to be a place worth going. To say it’s stunning would be an “understatement”
Gregorys FTW! Beautiful country out there 🤙
Love ya work mate. The deep swimming hole with under the tree with the crystal water looked amazing.
The first spot with the beautiful backdrop and perfect clear water. Looks absolutely beautiful 🤙
The Mines these days actually have to restore the landscape back to what they actually originally where including plants in WA. I recommend if you can do a mine tour and they explain this. Man I wish i could have been with you on this trip.
thanks for the info mate I didn't know that. Cheers for watching
@@theexplorelife I have found your channel not long ago and watching a couple of vids each day, I sent you a pm on instagram also. Thanks for the great content
Best swimming hole for me would either be, lake Mackenzie on Fraser, or the waterfalls at blackdown tablelands although freezing, was absolutely beautiful
The swimming spot the with rope swing and hammock! Great 2 episodes with Wade! Yew
Sick ep mate! Gotta love it when you rock up to a swimming hole and the campground is taken 🤣 the best swimming hole would have to be the second one of this episode. Looks unreal!
Great job! Loved watching you check out all our local (secret) spots! Gregory's any day of tha week! Tis the jewel in our back yard!
That first waterhole in this episode, beautiful clear water with all that red and orange landscapes, it just looks amazing 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Thanks for brightening up our Sunday mate!
Reckon swimming in first camp in Part 2 was elite, I’m sure you could of parked up there for a few more days without a worry in the world!
Keep killing it 🍻
Even though it wasn't the 'primo' spot, I reckon the camp and water camp at Gregory's Gorge is the nicest one!! Keep up the sick episodes loving the series so far!!
Cracka episode Matty, the camp spot where you had the hammock set up was my favourite, keep up the great work mate 👌 👌
Great Ep. The first swimming hole was definitely the winner for me.
We were going to vegetables, but we didn’t . My kind of cooking 👍🏽👍🏽
Panna Hill. It's gorgeous back drop, little caves to explore and just all round great fun. A lot of those little pools along the river are.
I'm probably a bit biased. I spent some time growing up in Pannawonica. And as kids, we'd ride our motorbikes out to a lot of them.
A hell of a change from there to Sydney.
The ribs camp spot is the best one ever 👍
Swimming hole with the swing, that water looks so nice for a swim.
Great Vid.. Matt. The 1st spot you camp was the best. I’m sure it was hard to press on?
Yes, Aus needs to produce its own steel like it did years ago and stop relying on countries like China!
Correct 👍
I’m gonna say the paper bark honey hole was my favourite waterhole for this trip mate topping it off with some ribs on the fire
Panna Gorge 👌 How is good is The Pilbara, so underrated and your right, cameras cannot do the scenery and colours justice!
Love the trek lads, old mate of Wado’s and know he is a guru at this part of world now, best spot was where you guys went for a SUP 👌🏼
Probably your best camera work and editing, fantastic exposition! Keep up the great work
legend mate thanks for following!
Another great episode & supreme pizza and the first campsite in this episode and as Matt said gorgeous little campground, massive paperbarks, shaded, rope swing, back drop, pretty beautiful, caves and clear water 👍👍👍
Definitely the waterhole with the awesome red backdrop crystal clear water and the sup board to top it off cant think of a better place to spend the night👌🏽
the crystal clear water hole with the paperbark tree in this episode
The first spot! Stella scenery and off the beaten track a bit!
Definitely the campsite where you guys had the SUP. The backdrop is epic. Could chill there for a few days, exploring, painting and getting in some photography
Yiewww, first waterhole was sick can’t beat it in the middle of no where🤙🏽🤙🏽
Gotta be the swimming hole where you had the sup. Was an unbelievable camp, would’ve been hard to leave that one 🤙
By far the best swimming hole and the perfect dive into the crystal clear water! By far 👌🏽👌🏽
The best swimming spot was the one from last episode directly after you getting the winch out for sure
Defiantly the first spot! So epic! 🔥
Pepperoni all the way. Love how you cook your meals and don't just eat crap.
Gregorys is just magic
Another awesome video mate. The swimming hole with the paperbark trees was mint👌 I could settle in their for a while.
Most definitely the camp spot where you got the sup out and topped it off with a ripper fire to fork recipe. Can't wait to try it.
The only down side of your videos they are always Sunday night knowing i have work tomorrow but love em
I loved the 'unfortunate' campsite and swimming hole and Gregories Gorge! What a beautiful backdrop and a fire straight on the water 🤙
Great episode! I reckon the camp where you guys cooked the ribs is the pick. How good is Harry’s book, I’ve made several great meals from it.
on this episode I loved the swimming hole with the SUP, looked insane. And my favourite from the last episode was just the lakeside campsite
Mate these vids of the pilbara are the best I've seen so far, absolutely loved them, good job👌👍
Living the dream.!
I’d have to say first but what an amazing trip and thanks so much for the video series it’s been “EPIC”… 🍻👍
Gregory’s gorge and the mills stream.
Great knowledge shared with all as usual
Rope swing location for sure 👍🏼, awesome episodes guys, nothing like the Pilbara !!
That first spot, EPIC
First swimming hole of this ep for sure. Looked totally epic!
Gregory’s looked bloody mint, couldn’t complain being stuck there
Best couple of eps mate. Bit more back to basics and adventure. Luv it 🤙
First campsite on this ep for sure. And so lucky to have it all to yourself 🤙🏼
Loved the swimming hole with the stand up paddle board. Good to see a more everyday Ute in the lineup with the ranger this episode !
Sweet couple of episodes! Love the Pilbara and everything it has to offer, so many spots to explore. The camp in between the paperbark trees by the waterhole with the rope swing was my favourite. Could picture myself relaxing in a hammock there 😌
God, I miss the Pilbara. We used to camp out at Millstream, Kalgan's, Weeli Wolli all the time. I miss the red lands...
The paperbarks and the honey hole defs the best swimming spot-can’t beat clear, still water
I thought exactly the same-thing about the mountains being spat back out ~ definitely a catch 22 🤷🏼♀️☀️
