Reign Man Kemp & Glove Gary was the first lob city for me, when I was growing up. Detlef & Hersey weren't no slouches either! Bird raining clutch threes & tough challenged jumpers or Bird would fake out his defender Harlem Globetrotter style. Beautiful basketball back then. Not ugly game now, just different & too amicable.
These r the reasons why nba was better back in da day ! This is why we call this generation soft ! Kids now a days scared to look bad so they don’t try to be bad ass !
There is a big difference between Larry and Luka comparing them is lazy just because of their skin. Larry was a white dude trapped inside a Blackman body. Larry wouldn’t scream at refs he would just dog out the opposing team. Talked so much chit and drop 40 he played 827 games 10 time all nba first team 12 time all star retired with 24.7 points 10.9 rebounds 7.3 assists
There wasn’t much screaming at the refs back then. Officiating was way different and less involved, they would let you ball and bang, it got settled. Nowadays fight the refs instead of players.
Thats yr take? Only had a fadeaway? How to say you never watched bird without saying you never watched him. Get back in yr box. As gary payton said 'larry bird was the shit. He give it to u ANY way he wanted to'
Shawn Kemp is a legend. Grew up watching him play. Beast every night
Every night
Larry was that dude!! Shout out to Frenchlick, Indiana!!!!!!
Larry B was a beast in and out the paint!
SEEN THE INTERVIEW ON ALL THE SMOKE LAST NIGHT GREAT STORIES BY SHAWN KEMP
Larry LEGEND!!
He didn't give him 40/6/3
He gave him 40/11/10.
☘️ Larry LEGEND
I thought he said “46 in 3” meaning 46 points in 3 quarters
@@impasse0124 Larry Bird never scored 46 in 3 quarters against Seattle.
@@LordArrack1 maybe not but I’m guessing Shawn Kemp didn’t have the stats memorized. I think he was doing his best to remember and misspoke.
46, in 3 quarters is what Shawn said.
Larry legend Lawd
First sport shoes i ever owned was the Kemp Reebok shoe which had pumps lol
Reminds me of that scene in Accepted
"I WANT the PUMP!"
Good stuff, Sean Kemp, Hall of Famer from the West..

Shawn Kemp was a man child too

Why not show the actual footage of that particular game
No doubt, I lived and watched it happen.. Sean Kent was the stuff, stuff, Dunkin the best what I mean..
Lawrence Bird
I remember watching that game he gave him like 49 I think
😮😮😮!!!!
Just shows you don't have to be Athletic to be nice
No elite NBA could guard a slow dude who only had a fade away? Cmon…all bs
Thats yr take? Only had a fadeaway?

Get back in yr box.
As gary payton said 'larry bird was the shit. He give it to u ANY way he wanted to'
The proof is in the numbers. It doesn't matter if that's all he had. The numbers tell you that yes, they couldn't guard him.
