I like everything but the lights and that shelf above sink. It's too dark to see anything but the plant. The perla bead backsplash looks great. I love the cow 😀
Thanks so much :) yah, i'm not feeling the lights as well, and you're so right about the back of the shelf, not sure what i can do, i'm thinking maybe add some wood cutting boards to that shelf? or i can paint the back of it, but what colour? not sure i have enough black and white perler beads to extend the backsplash to behind the shelf, would that look good, i could try?? thanks so much for your feedback :) i may be using your comment in a video soon :)

A thin black ribbon would make a great finish for the dining chairs, instead of the fabric border. Less time consuming too.

So cute! Lots of inspiration here :) Small tip about the pearling, when you are done, use like maskingtape or similar and then iron the piece off from the pearl base (plate?) and you dont risk melting the base, trust me, I have done it myself, lol. Just dont iron on the maskingtape, it quickly becomes a sticky mess, lol.
thanks so much! sorry i don't know what you mean? i did ruin one of the plates, its all crooked now :( how do i avoid that and can i fix it now? i tried just using the iron on it, on the other side to flatten it out, but didn't help much :) do you mean taping the plate to the table, then iron? thanks so much :)
Sorry, english isnt my first language, but I will try my best to explain what I mean :)
When you are done with your design, tape all over the pearls with some kind of maskingtape or alike (Be sure you have all of them touching tape!) then flip the plate over (I usually use a cuttingboard or similar) so the pearls are free from the plate. That way you can iron the design off the plate and the pegs of the board isnt at risk of being melted. I dont think theres a way to fix the plate once melted, sadly.
Hope this makes better sence and that it helps at least a little bit :)

Thank you! 🤗love how they turned out, i always feel clumsy when working with material :) wish i didn't skip home economics classes in highschool :) but i do have a tiny sewing machine i bought because the big ones scare me...i haven't even used it yet, maybe the next video, thinking of changing out the bedspread :)
Great video/make-over! I'm not a fan of the light with the straw hat though (reminds me of "One Piece" 😄). I haven't done the balloon technique before, but maybe try spraying them with some nonstick spray first.🤷🏾♀️

Ginger Lola, this is beautiful. Very ingenious to use abbacus beads to add height to your kitchen dresser. Is that just regular wood glue you used on the cow coaster? It stuck to the wall really good. I also like how you used the balloons on your lighting. Very original. The little straw hat with the ping pong ball worked well aslo. You are sooo organized. I love your fabric drawer. And I love how your chairs turned out. Again, you are sooooooo talented. I love this room!
Thank you so much :) I love those beads! i can make anything, i used them for candle stick holders as well. It was hot glue. I want to try the balloon thing again.... i think my next video will be finishing off some touches in all the dioramas in this apartment, then i will go back to the dream house start on the kitchen, plus a whole new diorama for Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor... :) Thank you, i just reorganized it recently, so much easier to find fabric. The chair seats turned out better than i thought they would ... thank you . Thank you sooooo much, you are soooooo sweet :)

Thank you so much :) actually I have....:) I think on my next diorama project I will add baseboards, I'm planning on a whole new wall system :) something stronger, the cardboard in this one is a bit warped and it will be hard to make the baseboards look good :)

@@GingerLolaMiniatures a distressed wood painted storage unit or shelves. I really like decoupage. Have no idea how to apply the technique to a 1:6 scale furniture item successfully.
oooo i love decoupage as well, i have never done it before, but i definitely want to try it in miniature, i just found a 'dresser' at a thrift store that i might try it on, i uploaded the thrifting video yesterday if you want to watch it :) i think now i need to find a napkin to create the look?? need to do some googling :) thank you so much :)

What, if you put the kitchen on the brick wall then you could use the kitchen for a breakfast! Nook! Or, even a dinning area! Or dinning room! Freeing up space! Where you could possibly have, a living room! And a bedroom!
i tried a few different layouts and this one is my favourite ... i like the main kitchen part facing forward like the couch.... plus this way i have the entrance to the front hallway, so it looks a bit more realistic i think :) check out my video on the different layouts... :)
I preferred the old backsplash.

New irons do not get as hot as old irons. That is why I keep my old irons.

If you keep the hat on the "globe" light...you should paint it black! And your kitchen is awesome, but I liked the old back splash❤ it tied everything together with the white black and grey...or is it gray...idk?
i'm thinking of changing the light, i found a video here on youtube of a women creating these really pretty shades with string, i want to try it in miniature :) yah, maybe if i did a different pattern on the backsplash, made the pattern bigger, for now i'm thinking of adding some art to the back and maybe later on i will change it up again :) actually both are correct, 'grey' is used more in Canada and UK and 'gray' is used in the US... I googled it :)
