- JEFFREY NOTHING has released the official music video for the newest single, "The Outage." Directed by Ian D. Sniesak and edited and shot by Jon Conner of A Hole in the Head Productions, with assisted videography by Thomas Church and Aj Taranto.

Above is a place I pray to one day be, not a circle I put myself in as I traverse this lifetime. Freedom means everything. All complexes aside, we have no owners. Dream big and share your soul… I, for one, will be listening. So many trash their bodies and minds and feel they just get to wake up from whatever mistake they just made no matter what. It is so heartbreaking to watch a generation be wiped out because they truly believe they are invincible. We are not. Risking oneself for that ever-elusive first high destroys far more than the singular self. Parents never want to outlive their children. You are not that invincible person who will beat any challenge, just because. Stop for one second and be that miracle baby again. Not the almost adult who crushed everyone’s dreams, all because you wanted to escape a temporary nightmare. Death is the end, not a new beginning. Ever." - Jeffrey Nothing

It can be easy to compromise or give in to something that offers a moment of relief; a temporary solution to a problem that might turn into a permanent consequence. It can be easy to think that you will remain in control but more often than not what we think we control ends up controlling us. Pain and trauma are the real gateway drugs and until we learn to face the pain and overcome we will continue the cycle of abuse, be it substance or other. If we don't, addiction ends up being in control. It destroys what's beautiful, and then dances and parades what remains around for all the world to see. It can be easy to become ensnared in the prisons of our mind. If we take a close look at ourselves in the midst of our addiction, it can seem as if we are suffocating, wrapped in the fake plastic of the lies we believe that have now led us to the predicament we are in. Acknowledging there is a problem is the first step. Then we must fight, for our freedom and for our lives, one day at a time.” - Ian D Sniesak
Nothing has teamed up with fellow former MUSHROOMHEAD guitarist Thomas Church following their departure from the band in March of 2018. The group also features former MOTOGRATER and THE BROWNING drummer Noah "Shark" Robertson, vocalist Ian D. Sniesak, and bassist Steven Adams.

Jeffrey's movements and stand out voice are chillingly satisfying. It just isn't possible to find his vocals anywhere else.

Saw it just earlier, pretty intense but honest
I saw it as well. However, it just makes this video, along with the lyrics all the more confusing. I can see the Lord has truly touched him, but it seems like he is still continuing to live a life not particularly glorifying to God. At least not based on this. We are all sinners, but I do feel off about what his understanding of finding Christ means.

@@Crustapher And have you ever heard of Mortal Treason? Greatest Christian metal band ever. I used to be a huge metal head, my issue isnt the medium. This type of imagery is not uplifting to God. How do preserved organs, bloody dismembered dolls, or Jeffrey's mask which is essentially leather face (someone else's skin) convey the glory of God? It's quite the opposite. It seems he still maybe wants to walk the line, and not fully surrender. The Gate to the Lord is narrow and not many will find it.

Your art can be dark, and that does not mean you are anti-God. People can be depressed. And people can like dark aestetics. Which is fine. At the first verse of "fighting for freedom", for some reason, I get moved to tears. Right at the break of the solo is the awakening. Instead of stepping out of the box, step out of the universe and look at it all, and yourself. There is some power behind this gem!

@@sargentd9226 I know it’s sad. I was watching House of Mask live stream last night and people were bringing up to AJ about a Slipknot Mudvayne Mushroomhead Gwar type of tour but Jeff, Waylon and at least Church OR Gravy would all have to come back. Skinny their drummer destroyed that band.

Just wow I listened to you in the gym for years and years threw bad and good days ...now im trying to rekindle my walk with God and I seen your testimony. I lost my sister few months back then my uncle then I just found out my dad has cancer and iv started drinking again (pretty much every day) and I see myself going down the same hole I once crawled out of filled in then preached off the mound ...now I. Just sad and lonely even tho I'm in a room full of people who love me . I'm gonna start lifting again but to this new beginning. Love you brother and thank you for this tug on my heart strings

******** Jeffrey Nothing. Sigh... I got to meet him in Clarksville Tennessee, when he was in Mushroomhead. Literally the nicest person I've ever met. I got to meet one of my heros!!! I still have my pix, shirt, and my lanyard, that was signed by everyone. I still stand to this day. He has the best voice. Hands down!!! I've been following since Super Buick, and his side stuff. I remember going to a mushroomhead show when I was like around 7 years old and got a pic with him and got a chance to wear his old mask, but I didn't because it was soaked with sweat, I'm 15 ( as of this comment) and still love to listen to them now and then, my parents have even hung out with them, I spent my early childhood listening to mushroomhead so I have a soft spot for them
