Yes, folds back with bikes on or off rack. That way you can open back door. Support bar folds as well.
about putting bike on rack--cant you tilt it forward...to put Bike on and then tilt it back? I saw that in another video...have you treid that? also, does yours fold up out of the way when you are not using it?
Hello. Yes you can tilt the rack if you wanted put the bike on that way. Aswell tilt to open the back door of vehicle with bikes secured Hope that helps. Cheers

Yes I really like the bike rack. I used it last fall on a 600 mile trip. I do recommend when traveling always check on tightening straps and handles. In general bike seems to loosen a little when traveling. But I had to do that on my last bike rack. I added a safety ratchet strap just to keep things tight. You can’t beat the price especially with a tilt rack.
I have a question about the rack. Do you have to lift the bike up onto the rack or is there a ramp? I also have a roadtrek & I have a front e wheel conversion. I use a regular bike rack. I have to lift the bike up onto the rack. It’s heavy but I can lift it.
