2023 Corolla TS 2.0 here, mid-trim, Bronze Imperial (discontinued colour). Great car, love it, perfect for me, I was looking for a do-it-all, easy going car, and no SUV. Very soft, wants to be driven smoothly. 5,000 km so far. Fuel consumption, easily under 4.0L / 100km city, around 4.0L (sometimes more, sometimes less) country roads and suburban, 4.5L on fast roads, around 5.5L (maybe a bit lower average) at 110 km/h, 130, not sure, probably under 6.5L. Good punch (2.0L) when needed to overtake or merge with traffic. You need to have an adapted driving style to reach those figures, otherwise if you drive like a regular petrol car, you'll have mediocre mileage. Main gripes are the thin paint (already a ding on the bonnet), No wireless Android Auto (at least with my phone), no charging ports at the back, and only one USB port at the front, for, you guessed it, Android Auto. Potential issues, headroom for tall people (I'm 1,93 cm), especially at the back and with the sunroof, but I fit fine. I don't have the automatic trunk door and sunroof, which in my opinion are just more points of failure I didn't need, room at the back is so-so, and ambience is very dark especially at the back. Materials are a mix of passable to good, I've scuffed some plastic trims already, the seat and faux-leather fabric don't feel as durable as my old Megane Estate 2014 (I'll get some seat covers I think). Anyway, good car, very relaxed and easy to drive, plenty of room nonetheless, reliable (I've been told, I don't know), comfortable, loads of safety features (meh, although adaptive cruise control is great for highways), frugal and roomy enough, which is why taxis love them.

You can battle the flicker with adjusting the shutter speed, not the framerate.
