Hi Ben, always great to see an impressive waver like you looking for the need for speed 😉 It must be such an adrenaline kick! Just like when you have a 105KG guy CRASH into you on the course HAHA😜😜😜😜! I explained and showed some of it in my vlog! See you around Ben!
I used to love windsurfing back in the late 80s and 1990s. Seeing your van crammed full of boards and rig choices reminds me of how much stuff I'd accumulated over time. Main boards used were Mistral Screamer, F2 Xantos and Bic Astro rock with only 4 different rig size choices. Would love to get back into it again at 50, but realise I've some weight to lose first, fitness to regain.
Do it mate… so many guys I know that used to windsurfing are getting back in to it. Plus the equipment now is so much easier. Wait for when you hit the water… you’ll wonder why you stopped!! 🚀🚀🔥🔥
I'm doing the same, I have lots more timber, but I imagine build up time on the water is going to lose me some of it. I just got a load of second had gear and am going to have a crack in a couple of weeks. I'm 47, go for it. I am super excited to get going again.
nice video man, I was waiting for something like this. please continue the speedsailing and I really want to follow your progress. I might even try it myself😜. I hope to see the next part very soon man. I am waiting for it. good luck and may te wind be with you🏄♂️🏄♂️🏄♂️
Cool video! Please continue the speed sailing series! Can you do a water start on those tiny boards? Also, what is the song starting after the first minute? I love that.
Hello Ben, really nice video. I loved to see the simmer scr sail in Action in your video, because i have the same in 7.0qm. Maybe you can give me a tip for the trim. I am using a 430 north mast with cc in the 7.0 and trim it on the printed value on the sail of 459cm. It works fine and the cambers switches really nice. My problem is the flat profile with a luff of 459cm. If i reduce the luff 1cm, the profile is a little bit deeper but the cambers are pressed hard and don´t switch very well. Is this normal or should i use an other mast?
i mean 37 is really fast. I mean im 14 years old 172, 56kg and my best is 31 knots. And at 31 I felt like I was going at 45 knots. So reaching 40 would be impossible for me at the moment. But in couple years thats my goal.
Who the fuck would try for a speed run on the lee side of dike with broken wind. You sir think this a place to impress the walkers, who actually look away in disbelieving snobbery.

What a great speed spot.

I'm a kayaker. Dogs love long carbon sticks. Here is lots of them.
that little white board is definitely not meant for a place with some waves
I just read on Facebook that Farrel O'Shea has passed away 😔 R.I.P
