Elite Squadron from the PSP has good gameplay, but the DS port has more story missions including more Rahm Kota and more interesting Dantooine level, it even has the night sisters and rancors as enemies, and when you beat the game you can use the lightsaber in any class
In my opinion, Renegade Squadron and Elite Squadron were the best Battlefront games, even if they were PSP exclusives. People complain about BF3 being “cancelled” and they don’t even know it was released, just for a handheld they probably never played.
Revisiting Battlefront 2 PSP as an adult feels… weird. I recall the battles being a lot bigger and involved when I played it back then. As much as Im happy that the game didn’t change how it plays, I feel like Renegade Squadron and Elite Squadron to be a much more fun and complete portable Battlefront game.
Completely disagree, renegade and elite squadron use a far inferior port of the game that removes a lot of the impact and freedom of the original game. The customisation is kinda the only saving grace. I really enjoy the ps2 battlefront 2 port
The PSP version does have a popular community mod that adds all console-exclusive maps and complete map variants except Utapau along with a ton of extra content (DLC heroes, ect.)

I do have memories of battling it out against the enemy faction's hero, so I guess that must have been in the PSP version and I never noticed it wasn't in the PC version.
