As long as a bet is within that min and max a Supervisor/ Area manager/ Pit boss does not have the right to refuse payout, unless they suspect that the chips were stolen (they would need to have evidence of this). The only other time your chips would be removed is if you placed a late bet i.e after the dealer announces "no more bets". Big bets like this are not uncommon in VIP rooms, so the casino would have no reason to prevent payout unless they had evidence to prove the chips betted were stolen.
