It's such a tragedy that it never happened in any big events. Just massive stupidity by the people in charge when both were in the company for years. It would have been such a huge deal, something people would have talked about for decades
it could easily have stolen the show at a Wrestlemania
It definitely could've been a ppv match in the early 2000s. No good reason why it wasn't. Honestly they should've had it happen at armageddon in 2002, hhh gets his belt back at royal rumble instead of armageddon and we get one less shitty hhh vs scott Steiner match
When the crowd pops for you in the beginning HBK reacts to it… he acts like he’s okay with the crowd appreciating you… like a little subtle knod to the crowd like He’s in agreement… it’s a power move… he’s acting like he’s not fazed by your popularity…

I kno it got to him that you were more over than him…
The truth is Shawn Michaels was never super popular…
But after his matches are finished the crowd always is pleased…

HBK vs RVD happened on a random Raw and it was cut short. But bro, RVD was kickin that ass! That frog splash on HBKs back was sick
That shoulda been a wrestlemania rivalry.
To Shawn Michaels credit, he went backstage and did the Japanese pre match ritual of slapping his opponent. He slapped RVD and RVD slapped him right back.

For its profanity language, blood, violence and sexual content on satellite TV while WWF/E broadcast international live on TV competing with Nitro. Only of ECW could negotiate a better deal and management for TV, booking, management and investment beside TNN .

@@TheSafetysuitNo. I used to be a huge fan of Chris Jericho but HBK vs. RVD was a bigger money feud than HBK vs Y2J. RVD was super over and HBK could helped elevate RVD to that next level after Rock and Austin left in 03.

Break Triple H's throat wasn't worth it cause he came back stronger than he came back at the beginning of the tear injure himself the year before. You never had your fair shot for the World Heavyweight title, against Shawn Michaels and the week later you lost to Triple H for fault Ric Flair
