2:20 I love the "Mission complete" text appearing. I know it's about squadrons, but I like to imagine it's the WoL going "Heh, that wasn't too hard" not expecting the BRUTE JUSTICE TRANS-MODE!
i managed to do this today, if anyone finds this guide trying to do this, some tips * dont kill the center add to soon *the last add should be killed with the center add or instakill the center add before he finish casting selfdestruct, that will reset the fight *on brute justice, tank a tornado and use holmgang just before you do or follow up atacks will kill you... that's it, have fun
You need to get your eHP over 300k, real HP and shielding works but % DR and invulns do nothing (I just popped holmgang for insurance for following attacks). I think warrior is the only one capable. I used a vitality potion to increase max HP, bloodwhetting shield, vengeance+bloodwhetting buffed shake (shake does not remove bloodwhetting's shield, only the mitigation and life steal) + lastly thrill of battle (after shake so it doesn't get eaten :D )

@@antarath517 I spent a couple of hours playing around with SCH in here today. Unfortunately the healing down you get from enumeration seems to kill the possibility, as applying every form of fully buffed shield is not even close to enough. It would need to be almost doubled. This is in full i580 with food and pot. Also there was an annoying RNG inconvenience, Gavel debuffs are based on role. The healer cannot touch the pentacles no matter what so you have to let them explode, not a big deal on a healer though, the damage is easily survivable. However if you get Penalty I instead of Penalty II you cannot take the tornado, meaning the required eHP becomes 400k which is just completely hopeless. I disagree on the DRK comment, even if DRK magically had enough self-heal to top themselves, TBN is all they have and it wouldn't be enough. Bare in mind you have a hefty HP penalty from enumeration, so you would need more than a 25% shield to make it to 300k. On the other hand though, DRK is actually pretty close to just outright killing the boss before the tornadoes explode, I got it down to 24% HP with i580, current food and strength pot, so I can see DRK soloing this with higher item level.
@@quincatto I agree on the DRK, the sustain simply isn't there to make it through. Disappointing on the SCH tho Edit: would be interesting to see if there's a dps that can just skip the nadoes
I think they changed some of the numbers in this fight without telling anyone. At Gravel, the damage is a bit different, with Holmgang no longer working if you die there (I used it numerous times and it’s an auto kill and restart). The Twisters all do max damage, while stepping into one will nearly kill a Tank. The orbs also now automatically explode when they hit you unlike in the video (unless I’m seeing it wrong. The twisters are what killing me). So unless I’m doing something wrong, Holmgang no longer works against Gravel. >.>
Nothing has changed, but you are misunderstanding how the mechanic works. Holmgang never worked there, I only used it as a precaution in case the following auto attacks and orbs were to cause an issue. You need to get your eHP (effective HP or HP + shields) over 300k, % mitigation and invulnerability skills do nothing. Buffed Shake and Thrill of Battle are the key here. The twisters do not do max damage, they reduce your HP to 1, ready an Equilibrium so the following auto attack does not kill you. The orbs can be dodged as long as you keep moving, but they will do pitiful damage even if you are hit.

@@quincatto I have 294k raw HP + the shield and I still fucking die...
Every time i get tot his point 2:24 i have to restart without actually dying to anything. Do I need to defeat them before a certain time or something.
Managed to do it a lot more easily as a 2 man. And yes there is a specific mechanic you need to do to prevent the party wipe
you can also just go dps and smash it now ^^

@@quincatto Thanks for the advice! I’ll be sure and give it a try again later! I guess I missed all of that from how fast it all happens.
