We went halibut fishing on the King Pin out of Homer Alaska - one of their long range halibut charters. What we should have done is the overnight trip that came back the same time as we did with the monster halibut, ling cod and yellow eye!

This is awesome to see! I grew up in the Anchorage area. Homer is one of my favorite places on earth. I've done a few halibut charters out of there and it's always a blast.
Great action overall but i am not going to Alaska to keep a 42 inch Halibut. Should have gone for bigger one. Was it too late?
