- On episode 2 of DEFINE. Behind the Missions, we look back at what went into Tre's epic bigspin battle, and a rare case of Spencer going back to the same spot twice in one day while also filming a different trick in between. Miles revisits Stanford hubba after almost 8 years of not skating it, and Tiago with a spur-of-the-monent switch back tail while having to deal with the conditions of a busy pier in San Francisco.
Directed and Edited by Alan Hannon.
Still Photography by Dan Z.
Motion Graphics by Blaine Birardi.
Original Music by My Best Friend Jacob and Ref Hughes.

Like a lot of things in life when we only see the final delivered version of it, we often have no idea of all the massive efforts and dedication that was put in behind the curtains.
Amen🙏🏿 blood, sweat or tears
Big facts!
It’s easy for kids to to forget that, when they make it all look so easy
Like, like like 👍🏻
I could watch these videos for days. The editors kill it on these BTM episodes
on god
tiago's shifty switch flip god damn i love skateboarding
I run by that ledge almost every day, always picture how crazy it is to imagine going for that sbsts.
Tiago is the man.
I love raw edits and seeing attempts. It really does show a lot about the person and the blood sweat and tears that come with it. Skateboarding is pure dedication
These episodes are the best. Love how theres always a story behind every trick. Allon Hannon is great at capturing the process of what went down before getting the clip. Respect to Primitive theyre a huge inspiration to me as a skate videographer
the switch flip 50 by miles is fucking IN.SANE. Primitive is above all in video content imo, i LOVE the style. keep it up bros!
EVERY one of these tricks are beyond amazing!! Tiago....wow.....switch....insane.
Tiago é foda, pop absurdo, representa o Brasil com esse sorrisão no rosto sempre e a energia infinita pra acertar qualquer manobra.
Filming a part is hard work & fun at the same time
Kinda wish they let Tiago speak his language with subtitles. It would be nice to know what was going thru his mind than someone else’s perspective.
Agreed
This
Heck, his English isn’t even that bad
If i dont hear a thousand “like” its all good
Not only that Tiago has enough pop to jump switch backtail on that... but that he has enough power to pop that high over and over and over and over and over again, jeeeesus xDDD
5:18 jumping down a gap that big and just landing on your feet like nothing is so insane to me
Tiago's second to last switch back T with the shifty flip was steezier than the perfect one...both great tho. That one shows the energy of the session.
Primitive is on top of the Skateboard food chain in so many ways, including their content game.
Not only the sickest skate team but also the sickest skate video production out
So true. The filmers and editors of the video create the final product for people to watch but often dont get the credit they should
This lil series rules
love this series . real deep thought . takes you into the inside / personality of the skater. really resonates ! keep it up shits exactly what we need
Bro that last Tiago’s sw kickflip was ridiculous
These breakdowns capture the true essence of the battle. BRAVO! 🆙🆙🔥🔥
There is nothing wrong with that man...people like skateboarders are so close....and they are the best friends anyone can ever have. I miss those days. And don't have those days anymore.
Pure Primitive fire.
Keep the flames coming!
🔥🛹🔥
Love these Paul !!!
Amazing Video ! Go Tiago ! Go Brazil ! 🇧🇷🙌
Love these stories 👍
That challenger memorial (triangle) is huge in real life. Spencer made it look small which is crazy.
That was beautiful!
I live to watch skate spot battles. wish i could still do it.
Jah Bless 🌱
Respect 🙏
that sw back tail is miles beyond
Love these
I love you primitive Gang
amazing
Primitive is the best
We need one on the Carlos Clipper switch back nose blunt, idk why but it seemed like it was the first few tries, that to me is just as gnarly as a battle, because some of these spots are gnarly to do it in a few tries is just as gnarly to me
oh yeah switch bs noseblunt would be sivk
from France 🥰
That switch back tail those ledges are nuts to do that trick on!! Lol fuck
so cool
His skills will training the skateboarding practice of landing a insane spot.
@@starcloudatlas His skills will training the skateboarding practice of landing a insane spot.
@@starcloudatlas Skills sets would helping his training to succeed and skateboarding the ability of a great footwork and contributing to skating from every other spot?!
Só marreta 🔨🛹
🔥🔥🔥🔥
just came down to SF from Wisconsin and saw the ledge that Tiago switch back tailed. I’m in disbelief
🔥🔥🔥
craizy moment
I could be a killer skate manager because i could level the risk for reward easy. That trick was NUTTS but even a simple back 180 or 180 flip would be just as legit. Same you health and energy.
Skateboar bem representado
💯👊🏽💥🔥
Power of the deku board.
amazing but wouldve like to hear what Tiago had to say about that day
That BS Flip is huge.
Took u long enough hahaha
Funny the shit we go through in ours heads just to get ut so try or commit to a trick lmao, the pre-excuse while trying the trick is too real
Who’s the guy in the guy in the old school united shirt? Fuck yeah ❤️
Like
Spencer Hamilton is the Hood version of Ben Degros
His timing getting used to a new shape and the angle all made that a nightmare. I had the same thing recently just trying to backside flip up a euro with a new shape. Couldn't carve in backside correctly like that.
Safely bailing the switch flip 50 with one foot on that tall ass hubba is a trick in of itself. Yikes
Tiago 🙏🏼🛹
This is normal fear is mechanism of defense.
like youknow like what like my lowest like like you know like wow
Miles angle so hurt
yeah I also donf find it very good, but the main clip is from a very good angle
💥💥💥🛹🛹🛹🤘🇧🇷
There is a lot of “like” in the first 4.30 of the video. Try and count how many times he says Like, you cant keep up.
im not quite sure if he said "like" enough
what do you expect from someone who likely dropped out of highschool
@@Jordi_Llopis_i_Torregrosa96 i wasnt aware that u learn how to speak in highschool.
@@ohohyeahohyeahohyeah You get educated in highschool. Educated enough not to have to resort to saying "like" every 5 seconds :)
@@Jordi_Llopis_i_Torregrosa96 I actually graduated from high school lol saying “like” is something I do when I’m nervous. Assumptions won’t get you far in life so work on that
@@trewilliams998 yo you're the best
Lowest point mentally over a trick?! 😂rich kid problems 🤮🪐
You just assuming he was rich based off what..
We gotta stop using "like" as punctuation, or as a space filler between statements. It's really poor english, we sound like idiots, like.
This could be the most extreme case of that I've ever seen. I wonder what percentage of his words are like.
Edit: I started this video and had to skip through because of that, and the next thing I clicked on Miles and he's doing it too. I can't watch this video.
@@jasondashney Like dead ass bo, gotta be like a millie of em, like naimeen dawg? Like it had to be like a lot like.
That's what i like to hear. Nah Fuck that I'm doing this shit.💩 Gets me hyped up!
