I recall reading an article that came to the conclusion that world hunger was less about scarcity (a lot of what many consider "food waste" is still perfectly fine to eat, or never even makes it consumers like you or I) and more about logistics. Transporting enough food to various and often very remote places to feed the people for a day? A challenge, but do-able. Regularly transporting that food often enough that people don't starve, but not so frequently that there's backlogs of uneaten food that spoils, managing maintenance, supply chain stability and capability, legalities between MANY different nations? Pure nightmare that money cannot solve.

What exctly did he do for the environment? His cars are trash and the batteries are only less damaging if they function for over 150 000 miles due to the carbon emissions and polution necessary for the battery manufacturing. Transporting enough food to various and often very remote places to feed the people for a day? A challenge, but do-able. Regularly transporting that food often enough that people don't starve, but not so frequently that there's backlogs of uneaten food that spoils, managing maintenance, supply chain stability and capability, legalities between MANY different nations? Pure nightmare that money cannot solve.

What exctly did he do for the environment? His cars are trash and the batteries are only less damaging if they function for over 150 000 miles due to the carbon emissions and polution necessary for the battery manufacturing. If he wanted to do something for the environment, he would have tried to research better ways to store and produce hydrogen after his take over of Tesla.

I have never understood what the appel of Twitter is but the fact that so many people got so upset that Elon bought the company is funny to me and all the death threats from people who wouldn't bust a grape in a fruit fight are hilarious
tbh over 99% of what i do on Twatter is getting the "arts" people i follow post. 1% is more me following the two CCs that post there when they're gonna stream (and since YT LOVES throtling them, only way to actually know when to tune for them early and not late) so it's my guess that over 80% of the sane users use it in similar fashion (Art, posts, news from some CC....) of only being there to follow stuff from people that post there more because of the built-in audience and ability to attract the target audience there

Just a quick look at America as a non-American, especially if you’re European, really looks like an ego festival. A lot of it is just hyper focused around vanity and letting people get off scot-free, so of course if that gets disturbed even by a small fraction, they will tantrum and smear you until they get a million confirmations from complete strangers that they’re right and they’re the victim.
The average American has a huge house (if they’re not living in a mansion they think they must be living in a shed), probably with a pool, living in a very large city, expensive clothes that are probably designer, plenty cash to spend hundreds to thousands on whatever junk you want every month, the list goes on: that to an American, is poor.
Not to mention that a lot of the cities are filled with loud mouthed people. Cali is probably one of the worst of them, especially SF.
