This is absolutely fabulous. I'm just finding and subbing to your channel. Your tips are excellent. I have to binge watch. Thank you for sharing your craft. Are you still in the basket business?
Your videos are very helpful, thank you! I love making gift baskets. I started off by making them for my friends and family on special occasions and I've been doing that for a while but now I decided to start a small gift basket business from home. I am very excited but don't how to finance my business. I thought I could apply for business loans or business credit cards with my business plan but didn't get approved because of low credit score. How much money do I need to get my business up and running? I read between $2,000 to $5,000, is it true?
Regina, the $2,000-$5,000 estimate is correct as business start-up capital because you need equipment and supplies for the business. In addition, even without a low credit score, you probably would not have received a loan without a full and complete business plan as shown in the book, How to Start a Home-Based Gift Basket Business. Keep planning; you can still succeed. Wishing you the best in 2015 for your business!
+OriginalPeggles83 Both are good to use. There is no "better." You choose the wrapping you want to apply or the one that's easiest to find. In either case, you will be pleased with your design.
+OriginalPeggles83 Miss Frazier, what is the best thing to hold items together for a tray? I have items on a tray that will eventually go into a cello bag. Currently I have a rubber band but I feel like that takes away from the "prettiness" of it.

So is it better to use a roll of cellophane vs bags?

+Shirley George Frazier okay thank you! Do you have an email address if I have other questions?
