Thank you for presenting such a nice, very easy and attractive modular star. I will send the photo of model I made after seeing this video. Please guide me,how to send.
Hi, Evan -- fantastic tutorial! I made this model with some kaleidoscope paper and it looks amazing, like something that I spent half a day on, but it was actually very quick and easy, thanks to your very clear and helpful instructions. Do you know if there are diagrams for this model anywhere? I would like to teach this model to my origami class at the North Port Public Library in Florida, and I can refer them to your video, but many of my students, especially the older ones, like to have a diagram. Another question: I teach the class as a volunteer (no pay) -- do you recommend that I get Lidiane Siqueira's permission in order to teach her model? Would that just be a courtesy to the designer or a real requirement? Of course, I always inform my students of the designer's name for any model I teach, but do I need the designer's permission to teach it? Thanks for your advice and thanks for a great tutorial!
It looks great Evan! Nice to see another video from you :) I really like these modular pieces, particularly when the pieces are easy to fold and then look really complex once assembled.
Would please help me to the link to “CYE NEWMAN” model, it appeared at the top right corner near the end of this model. It looked like from dollar bill?? Thank you very much
Do you have a particular design in mind? I have a tutorial on Paolo Bascetta's 3D Ring, that may be similar to be what you're looking for: ruclips.net/video/LUfxB8yTK74/видео.html
This model is actually called Whirl star and was created and published by me in 2013 www.flickr.com/photos/92098378@N03/8737527610/. I'd like to be mentioned as an author in this tutorial. Lidiane knows about this model but somehow ignores my authorship and publishes this star as her own everywhere.
I'm ridiculously proud of myself that I folded this right the first time around. The tutorial was so easy to follow.👍👍
Really glad to hear that! Nice work! :)
You came back to us!!!!!!! Stay with us - we love you!!!!!!
Haha will do, I'm definitely going to work on a more consistent upload schedule!
I'll say it again . . . Love your videos and clear instructions. Was nice to have an easy fold and easy to assemble too. I made two! Thank you!
Lovely presentation! Thank you. I look forward to folding this for my Christmas treats 😉
