I broke my pelvis, my back and my beano and after numerous surgeries was handed more pain meds than I knew what to do with. Luckily my wife is a nurse practitioner (and avid skier) and kept a close eye on my intake and pushed me to get off the couch and not give up hope to ski and paddle again. Some of the guys I went to physical rehab with weren't so lucky and years later are still state sanctioned drug addicts. Cannabis sure helped me and is great as long as you still stay active. 9 or 10 is honestly a little too young to start smoking weed. Adults should do what they want, but I think people should wait a few years past age 9 or 10 to try weed.
