Hahah i have a honda giorno that sounds like this and i work at night so the neighborhood knows what timeI got to work and wakes them up in the morning when I arrive. I basically became their alarm clock
That pipe looks a lot better. The routing is a lot better too. You don't have to worry about smashing it if you go off road, as much. Thanks for sharing.
My Grom has a Leo Vince LV10 on and I've had to put the stock exhaust back on because its so loud coming home at 1am, its also just and I mean just legal. The legal limit is 89db and the Leo Vince is 87-88db 😌
Great video the yoshimura sounds great without the spark arrester your right you can be heard by other motorists I put a termignoni on mine probably not quite as load but has a nice grunt to it noticed a bit more power there’s a lot of mods you can do with the monkey.
Thanks so much for making this video. I’m going to save it for when I install mine not sure if I want this particular exhaust but I appreciate ya stay safe out there
Pick up my ‘24 on May 30. Already have the Yoshimura exhaust ordered. Will be leaving the baffle in though. Friend has a grom with same exhaust. He removed his baffle and it’s a little too loud for my liking. Personal preference I guess. Easy install. Thanks for sharing.
My mate has an RS3 and its LOUD 🙉 I have a low mount Yoshi RS9T and its LOUD 🙉😂 Loud pipes save lives bud 😛 I had people walking out in front of me because the stock exhaust was so quiet , exhaust was the first mod i did. Enjoy your Monkey 🛵💨💨
No need to take off the heat shield just unbolt the exhaust to remove it in one piece. Cracking exhaust mate love the look. Loud I should say so heehee 😂
It sounds epic with the baffle in, been running with it in since doing the install, just find when its out the whole bike vibrates lol, its way to loud.
@@ohwell2790well i only speak from my own exp i have a 600 stock pipe and i rev it filtering and people do see and hear me but when iam on the 1000rr with a mivv gp pro the hear and see me fast for sure, but that being said if your riding like a dick nothing will save you so ??
Brilliant! I got the Rs3 on mine, however it didn't come with the spark arrestor! Or did you buy it separately? Yes it's loud but the quality of the sound is unbelievable! Filtering with confidence now I have this exhaust as on it I am not seen so easy as it's tiny. Love your cover on the monkey thanks
Does it add power at all, or is it just loud? Btw. I have the new Honda Dax ST 125 and its really quiet .. kind of like it that way, but I would like a few more horsepowers..
There is nae chance you'll no be heard from now on, son. 😂I'd probably take out the spark arrestor. I'm seriously considering getting a Monkey as my first bike in the hopefully not too far away future, there's so much customisation potential.
@@simotofoto No gonnae lie, I'm already doing window shopping. 😂 4 grand for the bike, then can easily be the same amount again just buying stuff for it.
@@simotofoto I see things like '181cc big bore kits' available but I wouldn't go that far - be as well just getting a KTM RC390 or something in that case. Mibbe a nice titanium exhaust, air filter, some dress up bits and I'd be happy.
Now the neighbours will know when you've left for work. 😂
Top work 👍
Hahahaha you got that right! :)

Bloody love this, the only problem is that every time I watch your Monkey videos I want one even more 😂😂🙌🏻
Get one bought there's always room for a Monkey :)

@@simotofoto 😌👍🏻
Put the Leo Vince exhaust back on as 2 drivers nearly took me out today 😌👍🏻
Leave the baffle out 😊👍🏻

Glad I could help

Brilliant Si,,,,, the whole city should hear you now bud 😂😂😂😮😮❤️
Haha cheers G it sounds epic
Looks better and sounds 100% better, what a difference, keep it with the baffle out 👌
That's the plan! :)
omfg that sick for a small bike love it :)
Hi Si picked up my monkey yesterday taxe for Monday, so we will see , cheers 😊
Looks great. But a bit to loud for me. Think ill get the Scorpion Red power for mine 🙂

Haha loving the logic :)
with the baffle in it is legal and still sounds nice .
Cheers John I ended up going that way
Sounds like a (little) beast 👍
Its a shouter for sure lol

Love it!!!! Thx…my next purchase
Enjoy!
Great video Simon, it's a locknut ya wingnut, not a captive nut😂😂😂😂#montheloudmonkeys

Don't want to upset the neighbours tho, still sounds good with the baffle in.

Cheers Andrew, yeah it has to be ordered separately dude, it doesn't detract from the quality of the sound just not as loud
Thanks I just ordered one as my neighbours are peed off lol
Well deserved a like. 👍🏻
Thank you 🙏🏻 Stevie hugely appreciated dude 😄
I wonder if you can polish the header pipe?
That sounds a bit to technical for me 🤣🤣
I bought one for my Monkey and I definitly leave the spark arrestor in. I have to wear ear plugs when I ride it now.
Hahahaha brilliant, I have left the arrestor out for now will see how long I can handle it lol
Really need a tail tidy now 👍

I couldn't tell if there's more power but it's certainly louder lol
Nice job but I can’t help feeling you’d be safer commuting on your GS (if you still have it).
Good point but it's more fun on the Monkey lol
How tight do the header bolts need to be mate
I just nipped them up hand tight lol
@@simotofoto ok thanks mate 👍

Did you lose any power just doing the exhaust only?
Not that I noticed it certainly sounds faster :)
@simotofoto That's all that matters 🏁
did it increase performance ?
Not that I noticed but it defo sounds faster lol
Leave it in on my opinion
Do u mean leave the Yoshi on or the spark arrestor?
❤👍
Cheers
You lose warranty?
no I wouldn't see that being an issue
Did you say 50 miles to work or 15, I keep replaying it I just can’t catch it. Something to do with the accent perhaps, sorry.
15 Richard cheers :)
I'd leave it in.. only to give the neighbours a rest from the harley 😂

Huh? What?
Let it breath.

Keep the baffle oot ....
