You know what would be kinda neat? The Doom Slayers wrist blade. I just think it would be cool but it would be very heavy and hard to activate. It would also probably be weak due to telescoping segments. I doubt it would work but it's a cool thought.

Adam Savage has a great way to find objects that have dropped on the floor, he sends a scout object of similar size to help find the thing that dropped. Lets say a screw fell off your table and obviously you have no idea where it went. Push a similar size screw off of the table and watch where it goes, more often than not, this has helped Adam find the the screw, or whichever object.

sounds risky and kinda dumb, then you just have two things to pickup considering things have a lot of randomness when they hit the ground and how they bounce. not calling adam dumb but intuitively sounds like a bad idea.

I have a better idea... Use a magnet on a pole. Can't find a spring like this since well, it's a spring. You pull it and it flings. Then you spend an hour looking for the thing. Screws are easier because for one, they roll in a circle, they're not cylindrical and can't roll far away. Also, they don't fling. If the idea works for you then that's good and I am happy, but personally I just find using a magnet much easier for metal things since 90% of the time I hear roughly where it drops.

I own one of the Rwice V2s and one time I took it apart and just stood there enamouring the simplicity of the design, no janky electronics, no heavy oxygen tanks and fiddly valves, just simple mechanics. I think if the design was slightly widened and you put a bigger main gear in, you could probably get the faster ejection that you mentioned.

Here's my favorite I'm-losing-touch-with-reality moment from playing too much AC. This was several years ago now. I was helping a friend teach marching to his indoor winter drumline at a high school where he was the band director. We were practicing in the school's gym and I decided I wanted a more top-down view of the kids. The gym used the kind of bleachers that would collapse against the wall and we didn't have whatever was necessary to pull them out, so I just climbed up to the top. It was probably about 30ft. When I was ready to get down, I nearly jumped, thinking that as long as I roll when hitting the ground I would be fine. That's when I realized I was playing too much AC.

Do Cyberpunk Cyberware next. Also, Nexus is an amazing game. I've played through it 2 or 3 times, and it didn't get old. The graphics are not even close to modern graphics, but that's because of the hardware. They don't take away from the experience, though. It also has free movement, so if you already have your vr legs, you can run and do the parkour and everything without teleporting.

I actually made a working one of these with lego and elastic bands back when i was like, 9 years old.
The blade was a lego propellor blade, and the whole thing worked on a pull trigger that you pulled with the elastic bands.
The only bad side was that you had to push back the blade manually because i had no idea how to do that.
By far one of the best things i had ever made with lego, and to be honest i don’t think i could replicate the same thing today.

Anytime you're messing with an OTF to put the little Springs back together no matter what kind of system it is, always put a bag over the top. Literally it's like working inside of a grocery bag that way you catch the springs. I spent hours with a flashlight in the dark with a magnet looking for anything that would catch my eye with shine. I also ended up using like a very large Ziploc bag with my hands inside of it one time that worked out very good too because you can see through the top.

Now i would love to see someone do this but using medieval or renaissance methods to see if it would have really been possible to make something on the scale and complexity of this design with the tools and methods of that period

I would love that, I dont have any of these tools, so it would be awesome to have a way to make it with more common tools

It's completely possible using methods from the late 1400s to early 1500s
(The period that ac2 takes place in)
A halfway decent metal worker and wood worker could make the parts

God damn I remember watching this channels videos because of you were making the marvel characters equipments and was really shocked about how you did those. I didn't even know a lot in english it is not my mother tongue but even tho my english level wasn't that good to understand you I wanted to understand what you were really talking about so I can say that you are one of the most important guys in my life because i believe that this language will help me in the future. The video that shocked me the most was a video that you made an iron man suit that can literally fly. Age 13 love your videos since 8 or 7 I don't remember but keep going with do good work and quality man ❤

just an idea not sure if it will be seen tho its about making a burst flame shooter or spark that can be launched from the arms and hands like how fire benders confure flames forward . the idea to make it happen is by having an igniter around the wrist that launches the sparks forward with a kind of substance as a projectile which ignites into a ball of flames and thus making the it look like you can shoot fire out your hands. for further information just ask about it . ill try to answer it .

Hey, I think you should make dark Vader uniform that has breathing functions. You can breathe inside the mask and even sounds like his voice and it also like a voice changer kind of thing where when you when you put his helmet on, I’ll make a change, your voice and then if you try to take it off at like like gas comes out to make it like that affect that you were injured and you had your helmet on for a long time when you snap. Air pressure leaks out and also Put the buttons on it and the buttons I should do something like the eyes may glow or and also Vader he also goes to the bathroom and suit if you could try to replicate that that be pretty cool

seeing this design made me realize that a hidden blade is basically just an otf knife with a string instead of the button. i wonder if it could be made more solid and powerful by using otf mechanics
