If you are wondering why I “wasted paint”? or “what was the point of the first layer”? Here is your answer: First off there is another canvas on the floor and around the interior walls of the Arena capturing all the excess paint which will then becomes time pieces with many many layer. Also the creative process is not linear, this is not a how to... I make mistakes, I explore ideas, I share my failures and success - start to finish. That’s all part of the process, part of the FAKE ART. And finally a quote from Pablo Picasso - “Every act of creation begins with an act of destruction.” Hope that helps:)

The slip and slide paint studio looks too much fun. Yea, scraping off canvases and starting over is just part of the process. Watching these creations is indeed therapy. Thanks!

Thank you for sharing your work. And for sharing when things don't work out! Too often, people edit out every flaw and it creates this fake world where pros, like yourself, always produce perfect pieces. It creates unhealthy expectations, that everyone else besides you can manage things flawlessly.

Beautiful work! I really hope you didn't hurt yourself, slipping in the paint, cause I laughed so hard! Also, it's nobodies business if you waste paint or not. Turning out the masterpieces that you do, calls for an excess of paint. And, if you can afford it, well, like I said, it's no ones business! Love your art!
