Wow. Never knew you could get a boat out there. I'm really interested in this lighthouse and watched the BBC's documentary on it a couple of years ago - thats how I found out about it. I've always had an interest in tall buildings like windmills, water towers and lighthouses. Good video!!! Is it quite tall??
Neither, the net protects it from seabirds coating it with crap! It's nearly 200 years old and has only been repaired a few times, once with war damage, once when a helicopter crashed into it and most recently in 1989 when there was a fire in it.
