Does it matter the size, dumb question. Different UPC but same but price, does it mean each size is going for the same price or not necessarily & each Size shoe would have to be looked up I assume?
Each size shoe will have its own UPC. So red air Jordan’s size 8 may have a completely different price than the same red air jordans in a size 9. So you’d look up each one separately. To answer your question…..size does matter
Hi Josh, basic question, the shoes gotta be in a box correct??? What about slippers?? Sandals??? Some retailers like Marshalls, Ross, etc display them only on a hanger, can we still sell them in a polybag???
Shoes need to be in the original box but it’s ok most of the time to sell slides/slippers in a polybag

You’d need to be ungated to sell puma, adidas, Nike, Reebok
Does being a prime member make me a prime seller? I am doing fulfilled by merchant since I am just starting out and was wondering if the stuff I post will show up with the prime badge. Thank you for your time.
The prime badge that shows up on the listings just means that item is being stored in an Amazon warehouse and being shipped by Amazon. Since you are selling items merchant fulfilled it won’t have the prime logo, having an Amazon prime membership doesn’t factor into that

man i am having a hard time getting ungated with nike. i got declined twice now. i ordered 10 units of nike hyperfuel bottle to get ungated. i just sent another application with new pictures hopefully this time ill get ungated
Sometimes you just have to keep resubmitting a bunch of times

Hi Josh, I have been watching all your sourcing videos and they have been extremely helpful for a new FBA seller like me. I seek your advice on listing price for new product. In all your videos you keep saying that one should focus on the listing price of prime only and based on that price the profitability should be calculated. As I only use FBA, should I also look for the listing price of prime only (for any new product) when I am scanning and sourcing the product in store. Please suggest.
A majority of the time the lowest fba price will get the sale. You don’t need to worry about the fbm price too much unless it’s significantly lower than the fba price in my experience
Hi josh! I love your videos. I also started doing retail arbitrage and I live in PA. I do FBA. I have heard that I’d need to register with every state and file sales tax even if Amazon remits sales tax for me.. how true is that? Do I file sales tax for where I live or for every state I sell my products in. Thank you I’m advance. Your reply will be highly appreciated.
As far as I know you only have to worry about filing state taxes for the state you live in. I’ve heard the same thing before. I would double check with a tax professional

I’m out sourcing at least 20 hours a week. Normally I can find at least a few profitable items at every store I go in mostly because I got to know the stores in my area very well and which stores to avoid

I do very little fbm sales so I just use my address. I think there’s a way to have a PO Box as your return address that can be forwarded to your home. When something gets returned for an fba sale it’s sent back to Amazon and they will repackage and put the item back into your inventory if they determine it’s still in brand new condition. If the item is damaged or un sellable you can have the item retuned to you or you can have Amazon destroy the item for a small fee

Wish my Marshalls had there shoes in the boxes
I get so bummed every time I walk in a Marshalls and the shoe boxes are cut up
Another great walk though Video. I was actually at Marshall's doing this today. And I happened to come across some kids Adidas shoes going for $10 (yes I said $10). Selling on Amazon for $60 with a 90 day avg of $86. I'm not ungated in Adidas, but seriously could not pass those up and bought all they had. Even in a worst case scenario I can still bring in a ROI of $20. Really appreciate you making these videos.
