Singing rap is becoming a thing in SMTM, starting from season 8...now we are in season 10, a full blown singing rap show or I should say hip hop show, it's no longer about how good you can rap, but how much of a character are you and how good are you as an artist. It's kinda sad but I can see that they are trying to push hip-hop to be as mainstream as possible
