    Love love your detailed instructions on going from tube to flat panel!!! Thank you, thank you for sharing this with us. Will be watching repeatedly as I learn 🧐. Looking forward to seeing your other videos. Keep up the good work.❤ although I don’t know how you used bulky for this without tucked and drop stitches.. Mine hates anything over a 3 DK weight. I have not tried Ice yarn bulky.

    I'm on my fourth try, for some reason I keep messing up and the two stitches to the left of the bound off stitches fall off, and I think I'm just making a small mistake haha. So I'm trying on a smaller swatch to try to prevent it from happening, but so far, no go T_T lol. I really really want to do this, because I have some gorgeous yarns, but it's just fiddly enough for my brain that I have to keep trying. I will conquer! XD

    • @n3onstars

      I figured it out! My 3 are the white peg and the 2 to the left of it (rather than the white peg in the middle). I don't know if this makes a difference depending on which sentro you have (I'm currently using a 48 needle). Now to hopefully get the e-wrap right and get back to tubing practice XD

    i love this tutorial :) the only thing i'm struggling with is that the e-wrapped edge where we re-casted on to switch back to tube looks so loose on the finished product compared to the other side, does anyone have a solution to this?

    How would it turn out if i used a 48 pin sentro machine? I like how big the shrug is in the video and im worried it would be too big, what do you think?

    • @TheSnugglery
      @TheSnugglery  Год назад +2

      The sentro should make one that looks a lot like the green shrug if you use a thicker yarn that works well with your machine

    Love this pattern! When you switch to doing the flat rows after dropping the 3 stitches, did you switch to panel mode or did you keep it in tube mode but only go back and forth over the working stitches? Thanks again for the pattern!!☺️

    • @infinitelyzero
      @infinitelyzero 9 месяцев назад

      You keep the machine in tube mode if not you cannot use all the stitches even if you are skipping them you still need get past one extra needle so the edge of the panel looks nice and completes the stitch.

    • @n3onstars
      @n3onstars 5 месяцев назад

      she says in the video that you do the flat panel for the middle part. (Which is the part I'm struggling with, of course, lol)

    • @n3onstars
      @n3onstars 5 месяцев назад

      @@infinitelyzeroyou can't use tube because it's meant to be flat panel once you drop the three stitches. She literally says in the video that you keep doing flat panel till it reaches the length you want bfore putting the stitches back on and going back to tube mode.

    I have never thought about using a knitting machine. It would make so many things faster to make. I do love making things by hand. Something to think about.
    Which would you recommend?

    • @TheSnugglery
      @TheSnugglery  Год назад +1

      The addi machines are the Cadillac of knitting machines, but pricey. I would recomend trying out a sentro machine first. They have a lot of the same design. Back when I got my addi, it was the only one of it's kind but I'm thinking they had some patents expire or something 😆 cuz now there are a few machines with similar design on amazon. Its true they can feel kind of limiting sometimes. Fixed needle count, fixed gauge, kind of a learning curve to not drop stitches. But they're amazing for headbands and hats. I think their most practical use would be cranking out a really quick swatch of multi color yarn to check out the striping pattern. Super helpful for dyers.
