Thank you for covering this. I have friends who are Presbyterian that strongly teach replacement theology. Hoping they see the light. I see Jews as my brothers and sisters through Jesus Christ. We are adopted into the Abrahamic family; when an adoption is final the adoptee takes on all the blessings and responsibilities of that family, it’s really a beautiful thing! I adopted my son and daughter, and having experienced it I would not trade it for the world! As Christians we share in the Abrahamic promises and yes father Abraham is our father. To attack our fellow Jews is an internal family feud that needs to stop!

The problem is that there is a false dichotomy presented in dispensational literature. Making a distinction between the physical nation and the Spiritual Kingdom of Israel. All who have Christ as king are true Israel. This is not replacement, but inclusion. If you don't understand this, then you will be in the unfortunate and untenable doctrinal position of saying that Natural Jews who reject Christ are saved by genetics alone. All Israel will be saved because all who are saved are Israel! Retain customs and culture if you please, but Christ alone makes Israel Israel, not physical inheritance, but spiritual.

Replacement theology accusations and NAR are both vague and false accusations. What the slumbering church calls 'replacement' is actually accurate if rightly divided, replacement should be called 'fulfillment theology' because Jesus 'fulfilled the law'

Suddenly the changes in my life makes a whole lot more sense! I have been learning Hebrew and listening to messianic rabbis the last few months. I have a newfound love for the torah that seems to upset many Christians I am around! I have even taken to wearing a tallit in church. I have been praying the Lord bring a Jewish man into my life as a rabbi to teach me the ways and it has all been slowly coming together. I had no idea where this desire came from I felt like perhaps I was just having a crisis of faith! but now I feel like I now understand what has been going on with me and its exciting! Amen! I totally agree with what Rabbi Felix said. Gentiles should not be jealous of their Jewish brothers and sister. It's not that God loves them more than he loves the rest of us. It's just that through Abraham, all nations are blessed. Anyone who believes in Jesus is considered a seed of Abraham and a co-heir with Christ. I stand with the Jewish people. I don’t remember how it happened but in the past year I have gradually started keeping the Sabbath, studying the Hebrew language, truly trying to rightly divide The Word. I have been trying to keep the Jewish feasts although I don’t really know how. Also I have been distancing myself from Christmas and Easter celebrations. I still give thanks for Jesus, His life, death and resurrection but I don’t celebrate those holidays in the same way anymore. When I try to talk to Christians about this they don’t seem to understand. I wish there was somewhere I could go to church where others felt this way. After listening to this I now realize that Father is leading me into a new revelation of Him. I am willing.

It breaks my heart to hear this was his experience in the Christian Reformed Church. I was also raised in the CRC but was never taught replacement theology. I was taught the Heidelberg Catechism but never saw that. Maybe God shielded my eyes and soul from that and if so I am grateful. My church family blessed the Jews. Corie ten Boom of the Hiding Place was lifted up as an example of how to love our Jewish brothers and sisters. I also went to a Reformed College where I studied nursing. Part of the core curriculum was two semesters theology. Now I am moved to re-read the Heidelberg Catechism and look at the Canons of Dordt as well as the Belgic Confession to understand what the rabbi is trying to convey. I pray God opens my eyes to see what he hid from my child's eyes.

Thank you for covering this. I have friends who are Presbyterian that strongly teach replacement theology. Hoping they see the light. I see Jews as my brothers and sisters through Jesus Christ. We are adopted into the Abrahamic family; when an adoption is final the adoptee takes on all the blessings and responsibilities of that family, it’s really a beautiful thing! I adopted my son and daughter, and having experienced it I would not trade it for the world! As Christians we share in the Abrahamic promises and yes father Abraham is our father. To attack our fellow Jews is an internal family feud that needs to stop!

The problem is that there is a false dichotomy presented in dispensational literature. Making a distinction between the physical nation and the Spiritual Kingdom of Israel. All who have Christ as king are true Israel. This is not replacement, but inclusion.
If you don't understand this, then you will be in the unfortunate and untenable doctrinal position of saying that Natural Jews who reject Christ are saved by genetics alone. All Israel will be saved because all who are saved are Israel! Retain customs and culture if you please, but Christ alone makes Israel Israel, not physical inheritance, but spiritual.

Suddenly the changes in my life makes a whole lot more sense! I have been learning Hebrew and listening to messianic rabbis the last few months. I have a newfound love for the torah that seems to upset many Christians I am around! I have even taken to wearing a tallit in church. I don’t remember how it happened but in the past year I have gradually started keeping the Sabbath, studying the Hebrew language, truly trying to rightly divide The Word. I have been trying to keep the Jewish feasts although I don’t really know how. Also I have been distancing myself from Christmas and Easter celebrations. I still give thanks for Jesus, His life, death and resurrection but I don’t celebrate those holidays in the same way anymore. When I try to talk to Christians about this they don’t seem to understand. I wish there was somewhere I could go to church where others felt this way. After listening to this I now realize that Father is leading me into a new revelation of Him. I am willing.

It breaks my heart to hear this was his experience in the Christian Reformed Church. I was also raised in the CRC but was never taught replacement theology. I was taught the Heidelberg Catechism but never saw that. Maybe God shielded my eyes and soul from that and if so I am grateful.
My church family blessed the Jews. Corie ten Boom of the Hiding Place was lifted up as an example of how to love our Jewish brothers and sisters.
I also went to a Reformed College where I studied nursing. Part of the core curriculum was two semesters theology. Now I am moved to re-read the Heidelberg Catechism and look at the Canons of Dordt as well as the Belgic Confession to understand what the rabbi is trying to convey. I pray God opens my eyes to see what he hid from my child's eyes.
