Not only is Guy an excellent bike builder, but his styling sense is to my liking.

that's the first EV bike I've seen that, with your subtle mods, have resulted in it looking like a motorbike - congrats Guy

Mounting bracket I think would look far better beneath the guard. A much smaller bracket mounted through the guard onto a strengthening bracket beneath, i.e. the one you have on top, would appear far cleaner, and better match the smooth tank etc. Skyward number plate and rear light needs sorting as looks a bit daft. Otherwise the general look is great; more traditional motorcycle looking, but I do like original too. Love your videos as always. Happy days.

I was privileged to be around during much of the design and build. I know you’ve put well over 100 hours into those huge improvements. Maeving have produced a lovely bike, but you made it cool. 👍🏻

Looks fabulous Skid!! Only thing I'm not 100% sure about personally is the angle of the numberplate (what a shame we have to have these hideous appendages!!)

Agree I don't think the number plate can stay at that angle as the only way the police will be able to read it is in a helicopter. otherwise very nice

A big improvement on the original, will look even better when a smaller no.plate goes on. Another nice video, cheers.

Good work but I like the original fender more - especially the carbon one. Greetings from Berlin

That looks fantastic. I bet they would sell way more like that. Also you could sell lodes as kits to people who have already bought one. Just fantastic.

Great job on this! Really nice to see I’m not the only one who’s already thinking about mods 😂 agreed that your mudguard shortening + offset makes it look more like a motorcycle and less like a bike. I’ve been staring at the rear mudguard thinking about what I can change on the RM1S.
Have you ever thought about mounting the license plate on the side to have a very clean and minimalist rear?

Very nice piece of work Guy - brushed ally always looks fab. When something appears simple and obvious, that means it’s anything but. For me, I’d prefer the number plate a little more vertical, but that’s a small detail really. Cheers.

Looks great! You have a good eye and I like how the holes in the mount matches the holes in the front end of the bike 👍

Looks great, although I'd prefer to see the rear light/number plate bracket angled down a bit. The light would look better and be more effective pointing backwards rather than skywards, and a slightly more vertical number plate would look better to my eye.

Fab, it would be great to see some of your fabrication skills 🙂 perhaps a fixed camera and time lapse filming, so it's not long for those that don't want to watch it, but it gives the option for those that do to flow it down and watch at normal speed.
Just a thought but really enjoyed the video 👍

Great redesign but I’m not too sure about the angle of the number plate

T looks so much better ut there is a but. There are restrictions on angle of the plate, and this wont pass an SVA test. We all agree bikes would be so much better with non at all.

Wow well done great looking rear mudguard,
do you think its possible to fabricate a rear rack for saddle bags ? as I do not like the side mounted bag they are currently selling

massive improvement on original, if you could match the front mudguard in brushed ali would look 101%

I like the idea of an e- bike ,but no engine noise is the danger of riding one .
Could you think of an idea to make a false engine note .
Maybe an app.through the brain an a speaker .
Could be any engine note .
    Just an idea 💡

Would it be possible to swap for a bench seat? This frame likely can’t support for sitting at the back of the bench but I’m curious what this bike with a bench would look like.

Is a number plate at that angle road legal?

  • @kwameboxa567

I'm not a fan of electric vehicles , be they bike or car, but I enjoyed hearing your rationale behind the design and seeing what you can create by hand and with cardboard, which is far superior to the original.
I hope you can copyright your designs.....

Not convinced on the placement of the rear indicators and the angle of the reg plate. It's a shame we have to lug the oversized billboard on the back of our bikes to spoil the aesthetics.

  • @freddyfranchi

Not a legal angle for the number plate.
