great stuff, so much better than the casual tourist that comes and goes. you have a purpose for being there. Hopefully, you can make an update on how your life is progressing.
Great video! It looks like a fantastic experience!... I would like to know where you work online. I just got my TEFL certificate, and I also have an associate degree. I'm just starting the job search. I would love pointers to help me get going.
Thank you for sharing this awesome contents. The 254usd is for what kind of insurance if I may kindly ask? Or is it medical? Are there any benefits that the school is providing?
Since this video is three years old or more I don't know if you're monitoring the comments anymore but I would like to ask you a question. How did you or should I say how were you able to also teach online in Cambodia rather than always in the classroom? Are there students that you're teaching online from different parts of Cambodia or the world? Are they all in Cambodia that you teach online?
Hey Raymond, nice informative video! So I too have no degree. Currently living in Chiang Mai Thailand. Debating on whether to go Siem Reap to teach, where I have visited twice before and really liked or giving Bangkok a shot where I have taught before but don't really want to live in a huge city. I also do not have a TEFL certificate. Is the TEFL really needed? Thanx in advance...Todd
Hi Todd, especially since you don't have a degree, we'd recommend getting a TEFL certificate for teaching English in Thailand. You can learn more about requirements for teaching here: www.internationalteflacademy.com/teach-english-in-thailand

I am paying for 2 young girls Private School Education in Battambang. One is going into K3 at Dewey International School and the other is now entering 6th Grade at Sovannaphum in Battambang. What is your opinion on the best Private Schools in Battambang? I see there is not only Dewey International School but Dewey International School Elite Campus. What is the difference including cost? What about Westline or ISBB (International School of Battambang). Have you visited these schools and their campuses? Hello from New Hampshire USA
Is it true you can get a visa for 1 year in Cambodia? I was doing a google search and some of them were saying you can pay $35 on arrival for a 30 day visa and then you can go to the Immigration Department in Phnom Penh City and pay $285 to have it extended to 1 year and not have to worry about doing anything from then on?
Hi there! Great question--you can find out all of our information on our Cambodian visa page here: www.internationalteflacademy.com/blog/visas-teach-english-in-cambodia

Hi RJW, rent can very much depend on what type of housing you are looking for as well as location, but we'd say to expect around $150-200 USD a month on rent in Thailand.

Thanks for all the information. Why is it difficult to get s teaching job as a black male (native ana non native speaker). Be frank as possible?
💝
Let the viewers know if the schools are public or private. I know the tourist industry is big in Cambodia. That's one way the government makes money.
Also, ask the school to get you a small mic and speaker so you don't have to scream all the time
💕
