You made the village scene that you wanted with outstanding buildings and a real village feel to it. Yes its different from many models where the scenery and buildings support the railway. Here the railway supports the village - which is probably why it was built in the first place. Magnificent.
Very well done. Great job on the filming. Good choice of music, it evokes a sense of melancholy, perhaps of what once was, or could never be again. And of course great job by John and Jane Jacobs in building a masterpiece.

@robmasterman cheers Bob - I actually filmed this about four years ago and have only just got round to editing it. I can only apologise to the modellers. To be honest, layouts like J and J's make filming very easy indeed!

Pendon grade modelling for a home layout.
Why call this a model railway? I'd call this "grown-ups playing with dolls and doll-houses with some track and a train in the background".
