CRPF romba pavam, my relatives are there in crpf..they are a mix of both police and army and yet the govt dont call crpf as paramilitary..just a central police force, initally it was called as a queens force..crpf job is very difficult in jammu and kashmir, my friend said he just doesnt have any barracks to rest, 4hours work and 4 hours rest that will continue till the depution is complete..they hate being headed by IPS officers not from their own CRPF,.In kashmir the army praised crpf for their courage, the truth is its the only force which can handle internal and high risk areas. From north east to maoist infected areas to kashmir..they are not recoginized by the govt properely..they are still fighting with the govt for Martyr status if they get killed..where ever in india or un mission they are highest number of casuality..hope the govt will fulfill their needs.
