The Long-Awaited Oumagatoki (Undefined Fantastic Object Arrange) - TH18 ~ Unconnected Marketeers

This is the most fun I've had with a Touhou game in a while. After some time replaying them over and over felt dull, but due to the many card combinations you can certainly get a lot of replayability in it!
When I first heard this song I was baffled about how interesting it sounded in 5/4, and then that... off-key note? played in. I didn't know whether to keep it or not for when I was making the arrange, and although going for a B instead of A# sounds more natural, who am I to disrespect the original's, right? That A# you hear in this arrange is intentional, too, so it keeps it from the original song. I wonder if ZUN really thought about that note though...
I hope you like the Stage 5 theme from Touhou 18 in another Stage 5 theme! I used UFO's Rural Makai City Esoteria as a base, and I think it fits the song well.

Same! The first time I heard it I thought the same exact thing. Though, now that I reflect a bit more, UFO’s Stage 5 is written wirh 11-count and this one is 10-count with a 4/4 chorus, but because of the syncopated notes it sounds just like UFO’s in some cases. Regardless, I love how great it sounds, still has that kinda jazzy feel in a way :)

When I first reached this stage, I started thinking it all was kind of a reference to UFO (and MoF partially). I mean, Iizunamaru practically has Kogasa ex spellcards.
This stage just sounds great, I really like the Illusionary White Traveler reference, the midboss melody, and the nightfall part with all the RTs.
